Excited to look into this after Christmas x
The Quality of your Breath | A Poll leading to Friday's Practice 🌬️
We wanted to check in with you today on something simple. Your nervous system is always speaking, but most of us only hear it once we are overwhelmed. One of the fastest ways to return to presence is to notice what your breath is doing in real time. Here is your check-in question for today: How would you describe the quality of your breath right now? Post your answers here in the poll, and there's no right and wrong. This is just awareness... and it's changing moment to moment. Based on your answers (and what you need most) Jamie will post a 2 minute reset practice here in SKOOL on Friday.

Great question to ask people, forcing us to go into ourselves and be one with our breath.
Your Breath Tells the Truth | Nasal Breathing Poll
Your body always tells the truth. Nose breathing gives us subtle signals, and I’d love to hear what you noticed this week (drop in the comments). Before we go deeper, take a moment to vote in the poll below: Since Tuesday’s lesson… how often are you actually nose breathing? This is the foundational work (the part most people skip) and it’s actually the work that expands capacity in your nervous system. When you breathe through your nose, you gently shift your system toward safety. You slow the breath. You stabilize CO₂. You reduce sympathetic charge. You signal to your brain that you’re not under threat. One small habit change creates a big shift internally. And there’s research to back this up. A 2023 review in Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews found that nose breathing increases parasympathetic activity and improves autonomic regulation, while mouth breathing increases sympathetic activation and disrupts CO₂ balance. Translation: Nose breathing supports regulation. Mouth breathing supports stress. This is why awareness matters. You don’t need intense techniques to change your state, you need to notice what your body is already doing. Next week we’re going deeper into the nervous system, but know that it all starts here. Your breath tells the story, and your nervous system always responds.
