I Didn’t Pass the PMP—Seeking Guidance
Hi.. All I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share an update on my PMP journey. I recently took the PMP exam, and unfortunately, I did not pass. My results were: Target, Below Target, and Below Target across the domains. To be honest, I’m still processing it. I truly gave the exam my best effort. One of the major challenges I faced was time management—I ran out of time and left about 30 questions unanswered, which definitely impacted my score. I also realized I was below target in the Processes and People domains, which shows me where I need to focus more. Looking back, I see that I relied mainly on free resources and YouTube videos. While helpful to some extent, they weren’t enough for the depth and style of the PMP exam. I didn’t use structured materials like TIA Simulator or PMI Study Hall, and I now understand how critical those resources could be for proper preparation. I’m sharing this not out of discouragement, but out of honesty—and in hopes of gaining your guidance. For those who have been through this or have deeper experience: Where should I begin again? How did you approach a retake? What study plan or materials made the biggest difference for you? I’m determined to come back stronger, and your support or advice would mean a lot. Thank you all for being part of this journey with me.

I passed the exam last week. Time was a real challenge. I made the most of every minute. My advice: Use the study room, a very helpful resource, and similar questions. If English isn't your first language or you don't understand the question quickly, use the translation; there will be a button to translate everything back to the original English in case of a bad translation. - Read the question once and ask yourself: What's the problem in this situation? - Focus on the last part of the question (have you done?, should you do?, etc.). - Adopt the mindset of immediately eliminating two options. - Think about the most appropriate and proactive question, with the mindset of choosing the right one. Keep your spirits up, you'll get there!

PMP Audit- Failed
I've been selected for auditing and have uploaded the corresponding documentation. I've been told that the project descriptions are incorrect: this is the message. My analisis is that is or i described badly the program or is not permited group projects. I will put my descriptions in the first comment i would apreciate your thoughts, specially if some task sound like operations and not projects of if the projects are similar. the two projects i work as a project manager... thanks you in advance .----------------------------- Eligibility Not Met: Projects are not presented individually PMI requires that projects be documented individually, regardless of the number of projects a candidate is documenting. The experience entry on your application appears to include grouped and combined project experience. We require that projects be documented as individual entries on your application, regardless of the number of projects a candidate is documenting. Additional Comments: Projects that are documented on the application should meet the following criteria: -Tasks documented are project tasks, and not routine, operational or administrative in nature -Projects are documented individually and must be for a professional association/organisation; multiple projects are not documented as one -Project titles reflect the true project title, and not the candidate’s role or function -Deliverables are documented clearly Project descriptions should consist of the following: -A brief, one-sentence project objective -Your role and responsibility on the project team -A brief, one-sentence project outcome.

Project 1. V01. Program Program Objectives:The objective of the program was to develop the Basic Technical Projects for six wind farms and their electrical evacuation infrastructure over a period of 24 months. Outcome:The outcome was the delivery and formal client approval of the Basic Technical Project package, satisfying all regulatory and client requirements and enabling the client to proceed to environmental permitting. My Role:I was the Project Manager of the program, responsible for leading the entire program and the projects within the program from initiation through closure. My Responsibilities: - Initiating (IN): I analysed the client’s tender/offer documents to identify stakeholders and gather high-level requirements, defining the initial scope and key project constraints in line with client expectations and applicable regulations. - Planning (PL): I led the collection of detailed requirements and worked with an eight-member team to decompose deliverables into a WBS, establishing the scope baseline. I developed the project schedule and budget and prepared management plans for quality, risk identification and mitigation, resources, and communications, which together formed the integrated project management plan. - Executing (EX): I directed the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to develop technical documentation, drawings, and supporting studies. I facilitated collaboration among multi-disciplinary team members, engaged stakeholders through established communication channels, and ensured quality assurance processes were applied to meet both client specifications and regulatory standards. - Monitoring & Controlling (MC): I tracked progress against scope, schedule, and cost baselines. I applied change control processes to address scope clarifications when the client requested modifications, monitored identified risks to mitigate delays, and provided stakeholders with regular performance updates to maintain alignment with project objectives. - Closing (CL): I secured formal client acceptance of all deliverables, ensured that technical documentation was complete, facilitated lessons learned discussions, released the project team, and archived project records for future organizational use. Additionally, I prepared final closure reports documenting project outcomes.

application audit (failed)
I've been selected for auditing and have uploaded the corresponding documentation. I've been told that the project descriptions are incorrect: this is the message. I think one of the problem is I applied with the same description in two projects (the projects were with same scope and functions). I attache in this post the description using the chatgpt's video description of andrew to make the description. Anyone could advise me in order to be more clear in what the PMI are asking to me ? thank you so much, as future project manager this is a preparation managing issues PMI e-mail Dear, We regret to inform you that you failed PMI's audit process for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Credential. Eligibility Not Met: Project Management Role - Perform their duties under general supervision and are responsible for all aspects of the project for the life of the project - Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources - Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables The description you provided is unclear regarding the tasks and role that you specifically performed. They are duplicative and should be independent of each other in order to display reasonable knowledge and experience in project management. Additional Comments: At this time your application has been closed. If you wish to submit a new application, you may do so at any time. Should you choose to re-apply, your new application will be audited again. For your convenience, visit the Exam Content Outline 'Things to Consider When Applying' for tips and guidelines on how to better present your experience. Additional information regarding the application requirements, as well as related policies and procedures can be found in the respective Handbook and Exam Content Outline online at www.PMI.org
