I have a tendency to keep moving forward without looking back at my work—mostly because I know I’m improving a little with each upload. Every time I hit publish, I’m aware it could be better, but I’m still learning the skills to make that happen. So, for now, each video is the best I can do in that moment. Recently, I started looking back at some of my older videos—and honestly, it’s fun to see how far I’ve come. While I still have a long way to go, the improvement since six months ago is dramatic. What's really interesting is how obvious some of the flaws are now... but at the time, I just couldn’t see them. That’s part of learning as I go—practicing in public. Those early videos will stay up so I can track my progress over time. If you’re just starting and feel awkward, keep practicing. Practicing in public can be scary, but in my opinion, it’s the best way forward. For most of us, YouTube isn’t a “get rich quick” scheme. There’s a steep learning curve and a lot of hard work. But I truly believe this is doable. I’m still a long way from being monetized, but the progress I’m seeing is real—and I want to encourage you today: you can improve if you keep trying. 🌻
