Using Claude to find out why my channel could fail - and getting helpful insights
After a long conversation with Claude today about my new channel (no videos yet - but planned out for 10 videos) - I asked this: If 12 months form now my channel failed, what would be the most likely reasons? I got an answer of most likely reasons in order of probability> It then asked which ones worried me most. After my answer - it gave me ways to be aware - and prevent.

@Monika Astara Murphy Sounds great! Btw, have you ever read "The Little Prince"? It's a children's book, but you might really like it.q

@Monika Astara Murphy There are so many quotes from the book that I love. I think my favorite is, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." And of course, don't crush the creativity of other's, especially young people. I hope I never get too old to appreciate the picture of an elephant that has just eaten a boa constrictor.

I have 1000 views and 50 subscribers. Should I have more subscribers with that many views?

5% conversion is outstanding. As a referrence, the people I've listened to say that 0.5 to 1% is average, 2% is very good.
Intro- Brief pause
I'm Amanda Harris. I live in the Texas panhandle. I teach practical spirituality principles and practices. In early March I really committed to one video per week. I joined a different community and took a course. Things were going really well, on March 29th, in a freak accident, I fell and broke off my arms. Feeling a little frustrated, but playing around with some short form content and more education in the meantime. The "broke arm story" is actually really good for my niche. As I'm feeling really grateful and resilient despite the injury. My follow-up with the surgeon is on Monday, April 20th, I'm hopeful I will be able to get back into my long form content. Looking forward to connecting with everyone here!

That is really something to break both of your arms! Hope everything goes well at the follow up with your doctor. 🙏
Teleprompter
I have an 18 inch (ILOKNZI)? Teleprompter and have never used it, because it's too complicated to set up. Up until now, I memorize my entire script - I know, crazy!!! But I am a pianist and had to memorize hours of music. So memorizing stuff is not foreign to me - however, things would move along a lot faster, it I could just "read" the script. Are there teleprompters that are easy to use and set up? Mine has a fragile glass mirror that reflects the words from the iPad, meaning I have to type the script into the iPad and do all kinds of tricks to make this work. By that time I have my script memorized. Any suggestions on an easy to use teleprompter and how to set it up that the viewer can't see that I am reading....Thanks in advance.

@George Benson I like using q-prompt. I just set my phone right in front and it's easy to use. Granted, I'm still learning how sound good using it, but it cuts my filming time in half. I'm hoping I get better with practice.
YouTube growth topic
It's so popular right now! I've seen more than one creators add in videos about their growth to the rest of their content. But this kind of goes against the rules of sticking to your lane. Does anyone have an opinion about this? Has anyone added in one video a week or every other week talking about their YouTube journey?

That was the strategy that Silver and Solo used when she started her channel about a 2 years ago. It was effective for her at the time. I'm not sure if that strategy is good or not, but you have to remember, the algorithm serves you videos it thinks you will like. So if you've been watching YouTube growth videos, it will show you more of the same. I personally would not put that on my channel because it would be a complete departure from my normal content. If you feel like it fits with your typical viewer, or that your typical viewer would like it, it wouldn't hurt to try.
