Canvas app (via Dataverse for Teams) wanting a premium plan?
I'm purely interested in building Canvas apps that don't require premium licensing. And I really would prefer to stick to just using SharePoint, but am trying to embrace Dataverse for Teams - to give clients different options and also to be able to scale up to full Dataverse if necessary. Long story short: Following a YouTube tutorial yesterday, I created a Dataverse for Teams model-driven app and then built a Canvas app based off of the same table I developed for the model-driven app. I tested both through the Power Apps application on my mobile, and everything was working fine. This morning I tested my apps again, and am getting a message stating: "This app uses features that come with a Power App premium plan" and both apps are blocked from opening. If I go into MS-Teams and open the same apps through Teams, they open happily. Is this a Microsoft licensing glitch, or have I neglected to turn on a setting somewhere? Or is this totally how it's intended to work? I'm not happy that clients have to go through extra steps (i.e. opening MS-Teams, scrolling for the relevant team, then looking for the app....) before they can use the app.
