Time to get controversial... Let's talk about Andrew Tate
Go to any social media platform, type in Andrew Tate, and you'll see a person who has mastered capturing attention. Lessons: 1. Don't be boring 2. Be polarizing 3. It's all well and good to say this, but @Bru Capellà showed me how Andrew executes this. It's through exaggeration. When most people say extreme things, they may capture attention, but it's all negative attention, because there's nothing valuable underneath what they're saying. But if you exaggerate a valid point, you get the best of both worlds. You capture the attention from the extreme point, but you also are making a valid point, so people don't just view you as crazy. I don't care about whether you agree with what he's saying or not. And I'm not saying we should all emulate him. I'm just saying there's lessons we can learn from him. Thoughts?

True, he does a lot of stuff right for engagement. While he's clearly playing a character, there are people who take him at face value (and I beleive he is actually starting to turn into the character that he's LARPing now too). So the kind of followers you attract are either cartoonish weirdos themselves or car-crash viewing. Does he actually monetise his audience or is all his income from webcam girls? -Yusef

@Andrew Kirby wow fair play for buying it -for science I assume. The redpill/incel type crowd (and I would put him in that bracket, he's just the projection/defence mechanism) is gaining traction on twitter. Stupidly i followed people indiscriminately to begin with so i've had to deliberatley unpick my follows to retrain the algorithm now
