🌿 7-Day Challenge Accountability Thread
Hey everyone, whether you’re starting fresh because you just arrived or you’re restarting like me to re-establish your practice, this is our spot. The 7-day challenge always feels more grounding when we move together, so this post will stay pinned for our daily check-ins. Let’s show up, keep it simple, and take it one day at a time. ✅ How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, follow these three steps: 1. State which day of the challenge you’re on. Example: Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, etc. 2. How you felt before and after. One short sentence for each. 3. Screenshot or photo: A quick picture of your screen, TV, or you practicing. Feel free to leave encouragement for others. A little support goes a long way. ✨ Sample Check-In 1. Day: 1 2. Before: Feeling tight 3. After: Calm and relaxed 4. (Photo attached)

Check-In: Day 5 Before: incorporated the brief isolated "practice swings" guided by "swing thoughts" into the regular warmup. Feeling better prepared for getting the most from the coming practice and "The Eagle" tutorial. After: Concentrated on relaxing through the motions while synchronizing my breathing. Particularly with the arm motions, I felt a direct benefit with the beginning isolated "practice swings"; a subtle feel that the body motions led the arms, but the arms felt more flexible during the movement and less the arms moving like a solid pipe...helped in connecting gentle breathing to the movement and motion. Takeaway: Felt what was previously a strict body movement, a slight bit more like the body center moving a flexible vessel (shoulders followed by upper arms then elbows, lower arms-wrists, hands then fingers behind it), and relaxed breathing throughout the movement was a bit more natural than before.

Check-In: Day 6 Before: Entered into today's practice with an enhanced feeling of relaxation, softness, and flow. After: In viewing the 3 External Harmonies video, it gave substance to a new sensation I experienced during my practice today; Sonny has referenced it frequently. Perhaps a door was opened today as my practice held a more elevated sense of relaxation, softness, and flow. I can only describe my experience as including awareness, visualization, experience of flowing energy that connected the core and the mind to the movements. Takeaway: I recognized a greater sensation of the foundation I am building by way of the past 6 days of practice to be in preparation for building a new "house not made with hands". Peace. Alan

Thank you, Lewis. I have been researching videos to incorporate into a practice plan that aligns with my current objectives. Any recommendations on a process would be greatly appreciated.
