Question: What’s your biggest website challenge right now?
If you had to pick one, what’s currently the hardest part of getting results from your store website? Some common challenges: 1. Conversions / getting visitors to act 2. Homepage messaging/clarity 3. Product pages / checkout flow 4. Traffic / getting people to your site 5. Trust/credibility Share your biggest challenge below, or add your own. I’ll give advice and guidance based on what I see.

Trust and conversions. Once those are fully dialed in, everything else tend to scale more predictably.
Audit Post- Website type: General product store
Issue: The main issue is that the homepage and product flow don’t guide users toward a purchase. What I usually see in this type of store: – The hero section talks about the brand, not the product. Products are hidden too far down the page. – There’s no clear “start shopping” path Why this hurts conversions: Visitors don’t want to explore. They want to quickly understand what’s sold and where to click. What I would fix first: 1. Make the hero section product-focused 2. Add one main CTA: “Shop Collection” or “View Best Sellers.” 3. Push the top product category above the fold Rule of thumb: If a visitor can’t reach a product page within 1–2 clicks, the homepage is too confusing.

Happy to join this community. I operate a service focused website, and my priority is strengthening conversion flow so more visitor take action instead of leaving
How a Wix Store Homepage Should Be Structured
Most Wix store homepages fail for one simple reason: they try to say too much instead of guiding the visitor to act. A strong homepage should do 4 things clearly: 1. Say what the store/ sells and who it’s for 2. Show the main product or category 3. Build trust (benefits, proof, clarity) 4. Push the visitor toward shopping or booking Common mistakes I see in Wix stores: Sliders instead of a clear hero message, Multiple competing calls to action, no obvious next step If your homepage doesn’t answer these in 5 seconds: “What do you sell?” “Who is this for?” “What should I click?” It’s probably hurting conversions. In future audits, I’ll reference this structure when breaking down real stores.
