About My First Subject on Youtube - FORMAT
Hey Guys, how are you? I hope well... I would like to ask a question about Youtube from someone who is already well into the game. Next, the subject I intend to start with is linked to how to be a calmer and less reactive person, I see that this gets in the way of many things in life, I myself am a great example. Until the end of college (about 3 years ago) I was very explosive about every little thing, and that got in the way of everything, from friendships, jobs and relationships and the change after solving that was extreme. I wanted to start talking about it, but I have a question here, I wanted to do it in the form of a documentary, not literally because I think it would look weird, but doing something more cinematic in the style of James Jani channel, have you seen it? I think he's great. I think simply saying something I did is pretty saturated, I know that as much as the intention is to help, I need to draw attention to what I want to say. If you can leave your advice on this I would be very grateful.

@Corey Bennett Boardman Thanks for the answer! Interestingly, he made a selection of the points that he considers the strongest in each type of channel and builds his on top of that. I didn't know this guy. I don't literally want a blue ocean, I'm just looking for a starting point to start and not get stuck. You know, it doesn't seem like just one more, the differentiation from what I've noticed is quite relevant. That's what I understood from Andrew's videos, of bringing authenticity to what is being said. With a dash of attention-grabbing, that's what makes people click, right? And here in my country, these documentary-style videos are still in their infancy, there are few that make them, and with quality.

@Allan R. He detailed the journey in this forum, until today it was the best place for business I found, MJ Demarco books are very different from most. It's a great read from James' post for those just starting out too, I've already noted a lot of good stuff. https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/creating-a-thriving-personal-brand-w-youtube-a-journal-a-personal-guide.93279/ And thanks for your answer, it's the fear of doing it anyway at first that stops me a bit, but let's see how I do. I think the definition of the subject is putting me in the imposter syndrome, postponing it because I think it won't be good and then I keep thinking about things like organizing, process and models. I'm going to stay firm, one hour we're going to leave the place.
Different paths in creating content and making money
When I was starting out 3 years ago from scratch, I started making content. I've built my audience (70k followers on all social platforms) and eventually, I made a lot of money from it. The goal was to have financial freedom, not to have a lot of followers. The goal of having a business/side hustle is to make money. So going all in on creating content WHEN YOU START can be tricky (you make little or any money from it). So I compared two routes: Make content to make money (focusing most of your time on content creation and get money eventually) OR Make money to make content (focusing most of your time on growing business, not audience) 1st route: 1. You don't have much to talk about (you just start) 2. You don't have money to invest, so your growth will be slower 3. You don't make "how to" content, 4. You document your journey to your goal (ex. From 0 to 10k/mo) 5. You synthesize others' wisdom 6. (Not ethical) Fake it till you make it 2nd route: 1. You get a YouTube/Instagram/Twitter Coach 2. You invest in VA to help you with creating content 3. You invest in video editor (or content editor) 4. You invest in ads/shutouts to get more exposure 5. You share your knowledge and experience (because you did it) I heard Alex Hormozi talked about this in one of his keynotes: 1. Do sh*t 2. Talk about sh*t you did I think that's the secret why he grew so fast - he has the knowledge and experience, and now he's just sharing without researching, scripting etc. And he made $100M without social media. EDIT: Here's the keynote https://youtu.be/Hq8WXga18-A So what do you guys think about these approaches? Which route do you think will be faster? Feel free to comment, I want to know your opinion. I want to see different angles ;) PS. If you are consistent, you will get there eventually, no matter which route you choose.

I found these two approaches interesting, understanding that both have a certain value and can be used. For example, someone who is starting from scratch (in my case), would start with the 1st option to learn everything and when delegating activities, to be able to know if the work is really being done well. And so I would delegate as I saw the need within the time/money proposal. Of course, reaching the 2nd would be the best way to automate the process more, being able to focus more on studies and synthesis, which is our goal.

Hello Guys, My name is Adailson! My current project is to find a niche or subject that I can start and add real value to people. Of course, you can get paid for that too. I'm literally starting from scratch on Youtube, I currently have a low income as an Adwords affiliate. I did this to leave work from 07:00 to 18:00 (06:00PM) but I got hurt because I didn't see the motivation to sell things I don't trust. It's been years since I've been procrastinating this because I think that what I have won't be in demand from people. However, it seems that whenever time passes I end up falling into content about starting this. And just like Andrew I don't know how to program lol. (Sorry for my bad English, I still speak little)
