#collaborationColumn: Beta Testers for a New Trauma Healing Method
I’m currently refining how I teach a method called Scenario Work, which supports inner healing and self-discovery. I’m looking for 2-3 people to try it out with - I’ll teach you the method for free in exchange for your honest feedback on how I present and teach it. Let’s do a Zoom call where I can share more - if you are interested!

Drop-In Social Tomorrow! Are you coming?
On today's Skool news, Sam and Andrew talked about the importance of unstructured coffee chats in your community. Honest Confession: I'm great at casual conversation in-person but I absolutely suck at it online! Chock it up to too many years teaching, I don't know, but it's not my forte! Luckily, we have a once a month drop-in social where Premium members of the CLASSIFIEDS are free to jump in at any point during a 5-hour window. Meet with whomever is there, talk about whatever you want. None of it is recorded - I don't even fully know what goes on there! There's a bit of a game of chance component as well. You might show up and ten people are there, or you might show up and no one is there. Last month, I think the biggest the group got at any one point in time was 7... The best thing to do is to comment in the community that you are there, share a photo if there are a few people, tag some people, and invite others to join you. Apparently it's a lot of fun. I don't usually show up, although I have been known to pop in briefly. Why? See "honest confession" above. So mark it on your calendar, tag someone you want to connect with, and drop in tomorrow! If you've been before, let us know what it's like below. If you're planning on attending, let us know below. The time in in the calendar!

Yeah, I’m thinking of adding a coffee hour to my community too. Feeling both nervous and excited but I really want to connect more and teach less lol

@Shannon Boyer I function better when there is some structure, so I might add a slight structure to our discussions - don’t want to say ‘agenda’ but maybe suggestions?
#FeatureStory: Why "When Something Feels Off"?
I lost my 14-year-old daughter, Maddie, to suicide in 2015. I've dedicated my life to making sure no other family goes through what we did. Here's what I know: 40% of Canadian teens will face a mental health challenge. And it's starting younger than you think. I'm talking to parents of 8-year-olds. Nine-year-olds. Already struggling with anxiety. Withdrawal. Shutting down. Parents feel it in their gut. Something is off. They just can't name it. So they ask me the same three questions: - How do I know what's normal vs. what's not? - How do I talk to my teen without them shutting down? - Where do I go for help before this gets worse? Then they stay silent. Cross their fingers. Hope for the best. That's not a strategy. We give parents clarity, peace of mind, real language, practical tools, and a place to talk without shame. You're not weak for needing support. You're paying attention.

@Chris Coulter Yes, I agree. My dream as a teen was to have an older, wiser friend. Basically I was dreaming of a good parent lol

#Feature Story - Wouldn't it be great if.....
I’ve lived in 11 countries over 30 years 🌍 And yes, it was wonderful in so many ways. But it was also really isolating at times. Many expats say, “I belong everywhere and nowhere at the same time,” and that pretty much sums it up. There were many times when I was alone with two young children, both born overseas, while my husband worked 16-hour days. When I returned to the UK, I went through an expat divorce and a cancer diagnosis, and I needed some distance from the expat world just to figure out who I was. I’m creating this community so expat mums feel seen, heard, and understood, and have access to gentle tools, practices, and support, so they don’t lose themselves along the expat trail. I also met so many incredible women over the years and kept thinking, wouldn’t it be great if we could get together? And… here we are. Join us at Raising Change Globally PS The gif is our like-minded group of expat mums finally finding their team!! 😉

We usually want to help those whose pain is our pain. I can relate to identity questions - I immigrated early in life and never ended up with a label of belonging to any particular group or nation. In the end, it helped me find home within myself. Good luck with your community!

@Angela Walker Thank you, Angela. My community is about resolving past trauma in a fun, creative way that is called ‘Scenario Work’. Growing up was challenging, and the adulthood brought new unfortunate events, but I found a way of ‘undoing’ it and now want to share with the world how I did it, so that others would not have to suffer as long as I did :)
#FeatureStory - Can Trauma Work Be Fun?
I found myself in a strange place - I was the only one who had successfully resolved my trauma. While all my friends were still doing therapy, taking prescriptions and improving their coping strategies, I was completely trauma free - I very lonely. And so I decided to share with the world exactly how I did it - and build a community of like-minded people around it. I called it ‘Scenario Self: Healing Trauma’ because this method uses Inner Characters and Scenarios to resolve past issues. Who it is for: - For those who are tired of mainstream methods - For those who want to have fun - For those who are not afraid of their Shadow If you are one of those people who can look the devil in the eye and say ‘Let’s dance!’ our community is for you!
