Thank you, Tori! 💖 My perfect community member is an expat mum at any stage of her journey, from a new expat mum to an empty nester. She is enormously grateful for the incredible life that she lives and also feels lonely and disconnected at times. She has done the move, maybe once, maybe four times, and she is brilliant at it. She holds the family together practically and emotionally. She worries about her children, but quietly, wondering whether this life is right for them. Will they find a sense of belonging, a sense of identity? Eventually she begins to wander about this for herself too. She does not want to be lectured or coached. She wants to think out loud with someone who gets it. She wants to be seen. She may be the life of the room or she may hang back, but either way she is an observer of the world around her. And yet there is a loneliness she keeps to herself, because who is she to complain about this life? When she arrives, she'll know she's found her place because we get it and she will realise that here she can bring all of herself and finally exhale. 🧡 If this sounds like you, I'd love for you to join me in my community.
