Tomorrow is going to be exciting. We are playing a team we haven't played yet because each time we were down to play them it had to be postponed. It was meant to be an away game but apparently their pitch is to hard so it is going to be a home game however our pitch has already got 2 matches on it so we are going on the full adult size pitch with their goals 😀. My coach asked if I would be ok so I said the last time I played on a full size pitch in a full size goal I was 10 and it was great so no problem 😂😂

A while ago, I posted about what courses I needed to take to become a coach and I received a lot of helpful responses. I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to answer. I had already completed the EE Playmaker course but from advice, I applied for funding and got the email today saying I can access Safeguarding, First Aid and Introduction to coaching all for free. I have just literally completed the Safeguarding, now onto the next one. Thank you again. Kirsty

Guys, I have been thinking… There are a lot of goalkeeper parents in this community, so I have decided to create a new section called Just4Parents. Over the years, I have laughed and cried with thousands of goalkeeper parents, so I truly understand how hard it can be to help your child on their goalkeeping journey. And please do not ever feel embarrassed by that. Goalkeeping is a very specialist position. Unless you have actually played in goal yourself, it can be very hard to fully understand what your child is going through, what they need, and the best way to support them. That is exactly why I have created this section. Once a week, I will post tips, advice, and support to help you better understand your goalkeeper child and help them move closer to their dreams. This will also be a place where parents can share their own experiences, support each other, and realise they are not alone. So if you are a parent of a goalkeeper and you need help, please post your questions in this section. We are here to help you. You do not have to go through this goalkeeper journey alone anymore.
