daily check in
📅 Daily Check-in - October 6, 2026 💭 Reflection: "haven't checked in for 3 days, weekends I usually don't but yesterday was messy I had meetings but didn't really plan them so 5 meetings on one day, dentist in the morning drove my son to school afterwards , bet had to pick him up again at 3;30 pm, so thats 1 hour gone from productivity but sort of quality time also. The weekend was great! lovely weather , laid back didn't do too much. I read a mindbug on FB what made me wonder about myself in my marriage, I complain I am not happy, because my wife isn't as soft as I like, but on FB there were 20 lines why your wife acts so masculine ... and I realised I don't behave like man: I let things go their way, get to it when I like, so my wife picks it up she does the garden, weeding , mowing cutting branches , she allways does the laundry or better to say the whole housekeeping besides running a lawyers agency, I am working from home spending hours and hours trying to understand myself and why I am dissatisfied, after all those years I realise I never completely stood up from the crash six years ago, not taking controle not being a man; so my wife has to.... so that is a good insight to work on ! My mind was focussing on leaving but now I see an escape to save this family. Also a drawback a candidate I placed 2 years ago was looking for another job, I looked exact to his specifications about a job outside automotive, no cardealers , reached out to new prospects with the right jobs, after two weeks I reached out to the candidate:her replied: I allready had a few jobinterviews at cardealers ( 2 of my clients) so not really interested anymore... so lost 10k of revenue which i quit desperatly need because of hyperfocus and procrastination Right now I feel... motivated One small win today... went to the gym! I'm letting go of... focussing on the bad in my marriage I was hard on myself about... loosing a perfectly good candidate on whom I procrastinated My energy was highest when... sitting in the sun watching my son drive away in his tiny motorboat with his friends

Rooting for you!
I love Wednesdays
Daily Check-in - 2026-10-07 Reflection I love Wednesdays...Art time ❤️ Definitely gives me more energy for the rest of the day. I love the way JT put it too... What stands out to me is how you put it: art doesn't use up your energy, it gives you energy "for the rest of the day." A lot of people with ADHD brains treat creative time as the reward they get once the real work is done. You've just shown it works the other way round for you. It's fuel.🤩 Activities 🚿 Cold Shower, 🛏️ Good Sleep, 🌙 Early Bedtime, ☀️ Morning Sunlight, 🚶 Walk, 🥗 Healthy Eating, ☕ No Late Caffeine, 💊 Took Supplements, 🥦 Ate Vegetables, 🍳 Home Cooked Meal, 🧘‍♂️ Meditation, 🙏 Prayer, 📝 Journaling, 🎯 Deep Work, 📧 Inbox Zero, 📋 Planned Day, 🌅 Focused Morning, ⏱️ Time Blocking, 🎓 Online Course, 🎨 Creative Work, 👥 Quality Time, 🫙 2Lt Water, 🥗 Healthy snack Scores 😊 Happiness: 9/10 ⚡ Energy: 8/10 🎯 Focus: 8/10 😌 Calmness: 9/10 🌙 Sleep Quality: 9/10 🔥 Motivation: 9/10

Such great fuel!
My (delayed) 1st Win of the 5-day Challenge
Even though Day 1 of the most recent 5-day ADHD Challenge cohort (#4) occurred on Monday, august 31, I am posting my first “win” here with a sweet and sour feeling. Sour due to the “feeling behind, always catching up”. Procrastination and paralysis by analysis has been controlling my life for the past two years or so. After being a highly functional overachiever in a neurotypical American corporation environment, I burned out at least 3 times before I realized, about 1 year ago, that I should not continue struggling professionally, fitting into the mold of a fast-paced, results/money gain-oriented industry. Lately, not having tangible, daily high stakes at risk, my long list of projects to complete is endless and very much overdue. Even though I started the 6-week ADHD Harmony Cohort 4, more than a month ago, just now I’m diving into this platform and moving the chains towards the new version of myself. Day 1 Done! Biggest insight: I’m not broken. I’ve been a fish trying to climb family, societal, and corporate ladders, overcompensating my neurodivergent brain by performing an overachiever role as a perfectionist. Currently, seeing myself as a baby-fish learning to swim in the ocean of possibilities to build my ideal life style. My open loop is: Download IRS transcripts for all four years 2022-2025. One word for how I feel right now: HOPEFUL

That feeling of always being behind can make even a straightforward task feel huge. Maybe start with just one IRS transcript and leave the rest for another day, breaking it into smaller steps in Floment AI or on a sticky note can make it easier to get moving without overthinking the whole list.
Hey everyone, glad to be here!
Recently joined the group to learn how to better manage my focus, build consistent daily habits, and turn ADHD into a strength rather than an obstacle. Excited to learn alongside all of you!
