Have You Ever...
Would You Rather....
We had such an amazing call today in the PERSONALS. Yes, it started off a bit awkward (and that was mostly my fault) but the ball got rolling and we were able to have a wonderful conversation about collaboration and engagement (3 members even stayed on the call for an hour after I had to leave - thank you @Alexander Walter for taking the reins!). We do two calls a month - one is what I call and exchange of business cards where we introduce ourselves, what our groups do, and who they are for. It is recorded and the recording is shared with the group (just to be clear, there are no actual business cards...). The other call is a version of what we did today where it is just a casual conversation about a topic of interest. The "business card" exchange is earlier in the day and usually has 20+ people in attendance. The discussion is later in the day and usually has about a dozen people in attendance. What I'm wondering is: is it the time of day that makes the difference or the type of call that makes the difference? My kids are really into the "Would You Rather" game right now, so I thought we could play along too. Please vote in the poll and then explain your answer in the comments below. If you are not attending these sessions because you are not a premium member, please let me know what would be necessary for you to become premium for $3/month. So the question is: Would you rather have two "business card" exchanges each month OR would you rather have the discussion meeting earlier in the day???

I haven't experienced a call so I can't vote either way. I would like to build my network and provide and receive support through discussions.
PSA: Why the CLASSIFIEDS is a public group
When you join a group, it’s always a good idea to make note of whether the group is public or private. Public means anyone in the world can see everything inside the community (unless there are locks on courses). Everything inside is also indexed by search engines like Google. Private means only the people inside the group can see what’s posted. So while most people will choose rightly to have a private group, the whole point of the CLASSIFIEDS is to enhance your visibility and get you more members. I don’t want you wasting your time posting about your group and having it only seen by the people inside this community (as wonderful as they are!). On the flip side, make sure groups you are in where you are posting sensitive information are private. Check out the groups you are in. Any surprises???

I thought about this when I first set my group up. I’d like for it to be public but wanted to respect those who paid to be there.
I’m Exploring a New Way to Support Serious Group Owners — I’d Love Your Thoughts
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to better support CLASSIFIEDS members who are actively growing their Skool groups and who want more than a place to post - specifically, more visibility, stronger relationships, and meaningful opportunities to collaborate. 🗺️ I’m exploring the idea of a small, curated cohort for group owners who are committed to helping each other grow in practical, generous ways. If you’ve been part of a mastermind before, this might look a little different from what you’re picturing, and that’s intentional. 🧭 Here’s the rough direction I’m considering: - A very small group (intentionally capped around 10-15) - Members who are actively growing paid or monetized groups - Monthly, facilitated sessions focused on: collaboration, cross-promotion, and reciprocal teaching/sharing - Opportunities for members to be featured or highlighted publicly through interviews or collaborations 💵 This wouldn’t be a traditional coaching program or a hot-seat-heavy mastermind. The value would come from: - The people in the room - The relationships formed - And the collective momentum created through collaboration It also wouldn’t be for everyone, and that’s by design. The goal would be quality, alignment, and follow-through, not scale. 💕 I’d love your input on one thing (no pressure to answer everything although you can if you would like): - What part of this sounds most valuable to you? - What questions would you have if you were considering something like this? - If you’ve never joined a small cohort like this before, what would help you understand whether it’s a good fit? There’s nothing to “opt into” yet, I’m simply gathering perspective as I shape the idea. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping me build things that actually serve the people here. I'm really excited about this next chapter! 🎉

@Shannon Boyer BNI stands for Business Networking International. It is the world's leading business referral organization with over 340,000 members in 11,300 chapters worldwide. Each chapter allows only one seat per profession, so I haven't been able to join, as the chapters near me are already filled for Finance & Insurance. Here's the website: https://www.bni.com/about/

Premium Member? Coming to the PERSONALS TODAY???
I'm so excited to connect with you all again tomorrow! It's our first PERSONALS of 2026, we have some new faces, and a lot to catch up on! Last time we met, we did what I'm calling a business card exchange, and so it's time to do something a bit more, well, personal. Depending on how many people we have in attendance, we will divide up into breakout rooms and discuss/share/chat about topics of interest to the group. The session will be limited to one hour unless someone wants to carry on the torch after I have to leave to pick the kids up from school! 😂 Last month, the topic was growth. If you are a Premium member, please vote on your choice of topic for tomorrow. If you are not yet a Premium member and would like to know more about what it means to be one (it's really cool, trust me! 😂) you can check out this post. Oh! And I'm going to be doing some updates about cool things to come in the CLASSIFIEDS. I'm really excited about the future of this group!!!

@Shannon Boyer I hope so. It's on my calendar. My daughter is visiting me this week, and we have a shopping day planned, but I'm not sure if I'll be home in time.
