Big Mistake Rant
Ronin are investors not copywriters. AI is great. But would you rather have an AI that can write copy to sell Gold at market value? ($5036 an ounce.) Or would you rather have a supply of gold for $1,000 an ounce? We, Ronin, don’t make more money because of better copy. We make money when we find an expert (or other supplier) who sells his/her offer to us wholesale for far less than market value. Example: I had an SEO coach who was selling amazing value for $100 a pop. I said, “if I can sell it for $1,000, can I keep half?" What do you think he said? YESSS!!! I did not try and convince him I was an amazing copywriter or had some AI that wrote copy that made people want to sell for ABOVE market value. Does that make sense? We MUST buy low! So low it’s a smoking deal to the end buyer. If I buy gold for $1000 an ounce…would you buy from me $4000 an ounce? When spot price is $5000? Yes! Would I need fancy copy? No! We are NOT trying to rely on our SALES or copy skills. If I come across a widget that costs $2000 and the market value is $2,000 then I need to be great at sales or copy. I don’t want to rely on that. I NEED to find a widget I can get for $200 when the market value is $2000. I won’t need an AI or pro copywriter to sell it for me. Those buy for cheap and sell high are plentiful with an investor mindset. But for the love of Ronin! We are the choosers! We should be asking our partners why their widget is worth the amount their asking if WE think it’s over priced. Not them grilling us about where we learned copywriting. This is a fun and simple game when we offer something of tremendous value for way less than its market value or we offer great terms. Or even “bids start at $1!!” 😆 Does this make sense?? What questions do you have? Rooting for ya, Travis

Travis "Buy Right" Sago spelling it out for us copy-first investors still breaking bad habits! It is difficult to identify "spot" for courses recently. Especially when you know you're going to be doing a lot of "value add" between your Buy price and Sales price (ARV) vs just flipping it with "prettier packaging" -- but the principle remains: you make your money on the BUY, do some shit to it, and sell it for LESS than what it's worth. Ronin have so many tools and exit strategies. I often have to refer back to the Parade-Problem-Product training you did back in the FB Mojo days so I don't lose focus on what's most important.
Ditch Chasing Partners for Ownership Income?
Partnerships are miles above clients... But... Ownership Income is miles above Partnerships! I just acquired a 1900-person community in the PERFECT NICHE for me. for $1.06 per member. Get this... 50%+ conversion rate on the "about page" to the community. YES! I got 1900 emails too. There are 101 ways I can monetize. If all I did was run one auction and one poll per month... I'd have a 1000% return in the first year. Would you like to hear more about this? Gimme GIF LOVE 👇 If I get enough love I'll tell ya more about it. If not? I'll keep it for the ten OI Ronin. (Ownership Income Ronin) Rooting For Ya, Travis PS ONE SALE will make back my investment and I KEEP THE ASSET! PPS I can get all these I want with the GIVING FUN-NEL!

Tiny Acquistions for Ownership Income
When I was land investing, we'd buy off-market land from peeps who didn't want it anymore. We would get it for PENNIES, dimes, or quarters on the dollar. I even had unwanted owners, tired of paying taxes, give it to me FREE! In Digital Real Estate... There are trillions in little "acres" or partial "acres" of UNWANTED or UNUSED property. 👉 websites (all or just a little "spot" on a website.) 👉newsletters 👉 Micro SAAS 👉 space on ORDER CONFIRMATION PAGES using the UnAnnounced Bonus trick (Buyers) 👉Classroom Space on Skool 👉A line in a Welcome post as an UnAnnounced Bonus 👉A link in YT videos or channel 👉A P.S. in emails 👉Communities: FB Groups, Skool, Discords, Mighty Networks, Circle 👉Literally 1001 other "property types" where owners don't want it or use it. When I was land investing, we had to send out snail mail to thousands of property owners. It was costly. I'd spend $1000+ for 1000 letters when it was all said and done between data, labor, printing and postage. With Digital "Acreage"... I can just use my Giving FUNnel. $99 a month for Smartlead. $200 a month for Manus And I can send out way more than 1000 emails for that price. If I did 1000 at one time, I'd be swamped with deals for a month. 👀Look at the PIC. 👀 I'm not even done following up. The positive responses are peeps INTERESTED in selling. I'm picking up WHOLE PROPERTIES for less than $600. I've got other offers out there for $338 and $100. And if I pick up a bigger acquistion... Like for $30k+ I will use an OPTION to buy. 🐄Then I will use the milk from the cow to buy the cow. In other words... I can run an Auction or a Poll or Rainmaker and use the money I make from the campaign to pay for the property. I can control ANYTHING with an OPTION. I don't have to risk my money. In fact... Instead of getting a partner. 💥I could option a property and pay the seller 50% of the revenue until the purchase price is hit. 💥THEN I not only walk away with my half... BUT... Look what else I've done:

Really dig the idea of digital acquisitions instead of one-off campaigns & continual deal flipping with physical RE. But SaaS sounds scary, especially with AI eating the world. The distribution channels make more sense...but also feel like "cigar butts"

@Travis Sago great distinction!
Be a PAIN RELIEVER EVERY DAY!
DON'T BE A TURKEY DICK! SELL STUFF! EVERY DAY! If people have a pressing present pain...and my (or someone else's) offer relieves it...I'm doing them a disservice by keeping it to myself. If one symptom/offer solution falls flat… Find a different symptom with a more pressing present pain and roll out another one. There was a great story in Better Call Saul. (A spin-off show from Breaking Bad.) Saul was a manager of a pre-paid cell phone store paid on commish. The store was on the outskirts of town and almost nobody came in. So he couldn't change the PRODUCT... But he could do TWO THINGS: ONE: Change the positioning of the product and the PAIN that it solves and for WHOM. TWO: There was no law that said he couldn't leave the store and go where the customers are. So... Instead of selling: Unlimited minutes. Unlimited texts, blah, blah ...which wasn't working... Here's what Saul did... He soaped up words all across the window frontage of his store: TOP LINE: IS THE MAN LISTENING? BOTTOM LINE: PRIVACY SOLD HERE! He called out a PRESENT PAIN. He offered the SOLUTION. IN TWO LINES! He sold them as untraceable, untrackable, PRIVATE burner phones. He sold them to people who NEEDED privacy. The present pain was worry about getting CAUGHT in dealing drugs, having an affair, dodging taxes, etc. Not only did people start streaming into the store... He went out on the streets to sell them. HE CLEANED UP! NOBODY GAVE A FUUUUCK that he made offers because he had the CURE to their PAIN! If he had to change the window sign because nobody was coming in, would anyone care? NO! It's smart. If you make an offer that doesn't hit. CHANGE IT! CHANGE IT FAST! THERE ARE PEOPLE IN PAIN! FIND A SYMPTOM/PRESENT PAIN that calls out to them. Saul was out on the street approaching HARDENED CRIMINALS COLD...(offering private calls for their friends in prison. He'd sell MULTIPLES at one time.)... They literally could've popped a cap in his ass. But they didn't!
