@Shaun Latham I had severe childhood scoliosis. The kind where they said if I didn't get it fixed, I'd end up with crushed internal organs. So they inserted a Harrington rod when I was 13. Decades later, I still get compliments from people who see the x-rays and scans. I was fortunate that one of the top spinal surgeons in the country was at a hospital 40 minutes from where I lived.

@Tori Cadry ouch. I have so much admiration for anyone who can endure having migraines. Sciatica hella sucks. It bugs me far more than my back. It's a whole other kind of painful that you had to stop doing something you love. Which styles did you prefer in your MMA? I wish I'd been capable of trying any of that. Well, maybe not that. I attempted Krav Maga a few years ago, and even that proved challenging. I'm not built for any kind of floor combat. I can't arch, so that remove, like, 98% of my options. 😂
I’ve been developing a framework for adults with ADHD…
Over the last few years, I kept noticing the same pattern with my clients: They don’t lack information. They lack a way to organize that information into action. Most ADHD advice focuses on isolated tactics: • Use a planner • Try a morning routine • Regulate your nervous system • Declutter your space All helpful...None integrated. So I started building something that connects the dots. I’m calling it the Nest Navigation System — a framework designed to help adults with ADHD move from awareness → observation → regulation → environment → systems in a way that actually makes sense to the ADHD brain. It’s still in development. I’m refining language, testing the pillars, pressure-testing it inside my community. But at its core, it’s built around one idea: ADHD isn’t a motivation problem. It’s a navigation problem. And if we can teach people how to navigate their internal state before they try to fix their productivity, everything shifts. Curious if others here are building frameworks or structured methodologies for ADHD support. What patterns have you noticed that don’t get talked about enough?

@Elizabeth Hadzic thank you for the offer. I appreciate that immensely. I was advised by several people to write a book before doing any kind of courses built around it. I still periodically revisit the idea of opening a community based on the Arc. It's more palatable than writing a book because I am very dialogic in nature. I've just been spiraling out, on and off, in doubt. So if you're open to it, please DM me so we can discuss how I can get this work out for some feedback, whether just strictly yours, or shared with your community at large.

@Elizabeth Hadzic ideas need to be able to survive other ideas. I'm really happy to hear that you've had a good sounding board. And thank you, again! I'm looking forward to chatting.
Rise & Shine: A 21-Day Challenge to Unlock Your Potential ☀️🦁
Today is February 1st—the first day of one of the historically most challenging months for me, and for anyone else who suffers from seasonal affective disorder. As my grandma loves to say, "February is the shortest AND longest month of the year." But today is also the full moon in Leo, for all you astrology nerds out there. (Looking at you, @Matthew O'Brien! 😉) And this full moon in Leo is calling you—calling ALL of us—to step into our power and f*cking shine! To honor this full moon in my sun & ascendant signs (yes, I'm a double Leo, and yes, I am proud about it 😂🦁), I am proposing a challenge: 🌅 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 & 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟭-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 🌅 For the next 21 days, I’m committing to sharing one lesson per day about: - 🧠 Business & entrepreneurship - 🌱 Emotional regulation & nervous system stability - 💰 Abundance, self-trust, and sustainable success - 🧘‍♂️ Becoming a more grounded, embodied human And I’m inviting you to do this with me. 🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 🔥 Keep it simple & real: - Post one lesson per day (or whenever you feel called) - Short is perfect (3–10 sentences is plenty) - No polishing, no perfectionism - Lessons can be from wins, mistakes, patterns, or realizations The goal is to step into your power, shine your light, and OWN who you are. F*ck RSD. F*ck being "too much". F*ck being "broken". This is your time to take up space and show how f*cking powerful you really are! There are no prizes here. No one is tracking or keeping score. Miss a day? Come back. This isn't about perfection. This is about seeing how much JOY and EASE we can bring into our practice. Let's rise together. Let's shine. Are you with me?

I mostly cured seasonal affective disorder by moving to Phoenix. 😂

@E. V. Wright hi. I feel like I'm missing some context. What do you mean by cognitive update?
We got a badass in the house...
Did you know we have a Grammy-Nominated, 3x Platinum Songwriter in this group?! Shout out to @pineappleCITI Works! Just got off a clarity call with her and WOW, what a cool human! Just goes to show you how small a world we live in! You never know who you might meet on Skool. One thing she mentioned was getting overwhelmed by things like dishes and cleaning the house. Can you relate? I know I can. My advice to her was to hire and schedule a regular cleaner. Hiring a cleaner was one of the most impactful things I ever spent money on as an entrepreneur. It's pretty affordable; especially if you make at least $25/hr or more in your business. Just do the math; if a cleaner costs $25/hr and you make a higher hourly rate for the work you do, you're actually earning money by hiring a cleaner versus doing it yourself. Not to mention, my cleaner does a much better job than I do anyway. Have you hired a cleaner or done a similar type of delegation? LMK in the comments!

Philomath who loves to share what I learn. I own 33 Van Damme films but would rather hang out with Dolph Lundgren.
