Going through it
When life's got you down, what are your go-to ways of getting through it?

When the obvious tools don't feel quite right... I like to spill the tea with a tree... "I see you... do you see me? Sometimes I get overstimulated... do you know what I mean? Though I am rooted in my decisions I sometimes feel lost... do you know what it is to feel lost among the unanswered thoughts you must certainly have?" And perhaps it's my imagination, or perhaps its something more... But the tree will often respond... waving tiny branches that stretch like fingers closer to you. If you hug a tree, it hugs you back... if you stand near it and speak truth, it may even touch your shoulder to comfort you... you can explain it as wind... some shift in gravity, but there is compassion in nature waiting to bear witness to your existence. Its all around you. Can you hear what the tree is saying... Step outside and point your eyelashes to the sky... keep looking up... this too shall pass. Steady are your roots... quiet is the breeze... gentle is the healing when you breathe with a tree.

As the waves of sound light wash over you... connecting with your very breath... pulsing now with the beating of your own heart... thump thump... thump thump... You feel the intense freedom deep in your bones... you leap into the air performing a feat of acrobatic brilliance you once thought impossible... sailing gracefully through the air... you land mere inches from the pool of light where the monolith once stood... You see... a lone mirror reflecting the truth of the fullness of your being... suspended in time, you understand the entirety of your existence... you stand in awe... You see through your reflection and begin to notice someone... or something staring back at you... A hand reaches through the mirror and then... Abundance in Elevation
What does one write about when nothing comes to mind. Life has been nothing short of incredible. Incredible experiences with incredible people. I feel blessed to be beyond belief and I’m overjoyed to lean into the idea of alignment. Things seem to be coming to me in every which way, and I have capacity. Tipping my hat to the universe as I travel to the next mountain to climb…

I am really feeling the exact same way!! Colors even feel brighter... experiences feel more real somehow, connection growing deeper, focus feels fun when everything is in alignment with what we want to create in the world. Patience is growing, technical difficulties today became one of the funnest hours I've had in recent memory. Oh how we laughed!! 😅🤣 @Alison St. Romain One of the coolest observations I am seeing consistently... is how much my authentic daily happiness is improving the mood and general operating state of my children, fiance, family and friends. I am truly deeply proud of my daily efforts to get here... astonished how quickly it came... and under circumstances that could have destabilized me... but i keep moving forward... not always knowing where I was headed... and still arrived exactly where I've wanted to be for so long! Just witnessing the shift in someone you love, apparently shifts the frequency of everyone around you... it is like a little antenna is always projecting and effecting the landscape and all that dwells there.
ADHD Hack: Sensory Anchoring
Did you know that you can create flow states with sensory anchoring? Sensory anchoring means using a specific smell, texture, or sound to train your brain into different modes. For example, I create sensory anchors for getting into "focus mode" when I need to work by keeping a cedar block on my desk. When I'm ready to work, I smell the cedar block, turn on some medieval lo-fi music, set a pomodoro timer, and get to it. Now my brain associates medieval lo-fi and the smell of cedar with "It's time to lock in and get work done!" Have you tried sensory anchoring before?

I have Playlist tailored to the state I want to initiate... different for working, deep focus, house cleaning, exercise, relaxation, sleep, mood shifting into fun from funk. I am deeply effected by frequency and the right Playlist can shift my state instantly. Sometimes I forget these tools... and when I use them again, the effect is the same. It's not about the habit, it literally effects my willingness, presence, focus, mood, breath, thoughts, appetite, connection with my body... everything changes within the first few seconds of music play. 🎵 Let the Good Times Roll 🎸🎶🎧
Sparks, Spreadsheets & Second Businesses
Who are you and what do you do? Hey there! I’m Amrita 👋🏽 By day, I’m a Well-Being & Belonging Leader in healthcare. On purpose, I’m a career and life transitions coach supporting people through growth, reinvention, and building what’s next. And for fun (and probably dopamine), I’m a metal artist. Yes… sparks, color, and spreadsheets. We contain multitudes. Why were you interested in joining this group? I’m relatively new to Skool and currently building my second business - which means I’m juggling big vision, big feelings, and approximately 95 open tabs. I joined to connect with other ADHD founders who get it - the creativity, the intensity, the overwhelm, and the brilliance. I’m especially interested in building something sustainable without losing the spark. Excited to learn, contribute, and grow alongside you all. 💜 What’s your biggest challenge right now? In true ADHD style - having 35 brilliant ideas before noon and being personally offended I can’t execute all of them by 6pm. 🙃 Time blindness has me thinking I can fit a week’s worth of work into a Tuesday. I’m supported by amazing people, but the real growth edge is prioritizing, focusing, and doing less - better. Apparently restraint is part of entrepreneurship. Who knew?

Welcome!!! We are so happy to have you here!! You'll find much support and many caring people here! I very much relate to 95 tabs open and needing to exercise restraint... Its not always easy to rein it in... but well worth the effort. Im impressed by your enthusiasm for creating more and very excited to see your art and any posts you feel called to share or comment on.
