Hi everyone, my name is Nick, I’m an ER doctor and run a non-profit I founded about 20 years ago. I also do some real estate on the side. But my primary goal is just to have more time to be a dad. That’s what I have! Given the nature of non-profit (ie not an asset I can sell) I’m trying to scale it get the systems in place that it essentially grows and runs itself. My hope is that if I can do that I’d like to try to launch a tele-urgent care/concierge health clinic off the ground that would allow me to work from home (ie get off the night shift!). When I was in my early 20s it was easier to get an org off the ground, now in my mid 40s with kids and one org to run already I need to work smarter not harder. Better management skills, mastering the funnel, getting better at recruiting and training, that’s what I need!
