Assigned Pooling in Garments
Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a magical day. I’m new to the concept of assigned pooling yarn, and I would love to see how you all utilize this type of yarn in your sweaters or knitted tops. I’ve been knitting for about two years now, although I’ve been crocheting for 12 years. As I’ve continued my knitting journey, I’ve realized that I really enjoy set in sleeve constructions. I also appreciate knitted garments worked flat and seamed together, as well as designs that are partially knit flat and partially in the round. I have an hourglass figure with broader shoulders, a fuller bust, and wider hips, and I’ve noticed that certain construction styles are much more complementary to my body shape than others. Because of this, I’m especially interested in seeing how different knitters incorporate assigned pooling yarn into garments with various construction methods. I’m currently working on the Elan Sweater, which I absolutely adore so far! 🌻🪻🌷 Thank you all for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and inspiration! - Adriana Esquer (Houston, Texas)

I’m making the gorgeous Ghali sweater in a size to for my upper bust. Would it work to add extra stitches under the arms for the front to fit the bigger bust (F) Thinking to increase enough to make the front in the next size up then decrease down afterwards. Would this work? @Zanete Hussain @Liene Kalniņa
Managing yarn of body when knitting sleeves
Hi Zanete,. I've noticed you knit a sleeve after completing only part of the body on your sweaters. How do you manage the yarn balls from the body while knitting the sleeves (especially in color work) without all that yarn getting tangled? Thanks in advance, Sharon
Caeli Sweater
I am finally finishing the Rujuu sweater and have learned a lot mostly to trust the pattern directions and to read them all the way carefully before starting. I made many mistakes and messed up the color order but still love the sweater and my daughter still very much wants it so hey!! Happy ending!! I am about to cast on the Ghali sweater for me because… come on, it is stunning!! My youngest (22 years old) loves the Caeli sweater (the one I have been coveting since it came out) but wants it to be short sleeves. Ordinarily I would wing it, but I love this so much I don’t want to screw it up. Any suggestions on where to stop or if you think it just shouldn’t be done? She was thinking just below the honeycomb section before the last set of arrows? I see others have done it in a short sleeve but wanted your opinion or best tips. Thanks much for the beautiful work you do and inspiring us all! Vicki
