I fall in love with Yoke meditation series #4. I know that it is not probably the best project for the first color work especially if I cannot wear wool (it is too warm for me) and I decided to go with combination of cotton for MC and linen + cashemere for CC. I use cashmere to avoid visibility of MC when it comes behind CC. I like the result so far even if it is not perfect.
This looks very promising, I’d love to see the progress of this jumper. I always wanted to explore combining different yarns but was never brave enough to try. This combination looks very natural and lovely colours too!
@Tatiana Pohankova I too work on several pieces, keep telling myself I should be stricter with myself and finish one before starting a fresh one but something always seems to distract me 😂😂 I’ve got the sock knitting bug at the moment with my refracta sweater waiting to be finished…..
First ever sock knitted woo hoo just got one more to go I'm well chuffed only got back knitting today since last post. I have to say I wouldn't use this wool again it's not stretchy for socks and a bit heavy. My sock feels more like slipper sock.
2 pair socks done, was aiming on to to 4 pair so I guess I will continue doing socks in november. Valmeira memory socks and ruhbarb custard socks. Thak you Zanete so much for the youtube video of ruhbarb sock, so much new to learn when you knit from toe and up. This was really fun project.
Good Sunday everybody 🌸😁 I've finished Porto Memories🎉 This is my second pair for Socktober 2025. I used Italian wools, yellow one is hand dye in the Bolzano area and the blue is from a traditional wool shop in Firenze.
Rhubarb & custard pattern, first pair finished and second pair started, not sure I’ll get to finish them before the month is out. I am loving this pattern and just bought some more yarn to make another pair (or two) 😁
