🚀 Expert Industry Replay: What We Covered Today
If you missed this session… with Jenni Robbins, this one was BIG. We dug deep into how to turn a book into long-term impact, income, and influence — not just a launch-day moment. Here are just a few of the 🔥 highlights: 🎯 The 3 Pillars of Long-Term Author Success: Positioning. Business Model. Ecosystem. (Miss one, and your book may never reach its full potential.) 📖 Why publishing your book is NOT the finish line — it’s Day One. The real question isn’t “How do I launch?”It’s “What happens after the book exists?” 💼 The B2C vs. B2B Reality Check: Selling to individuals often requires volume. Selling to organizations can mean fewer deals, bigger impact and higher revenue. 🧠 The mindset shift many mission-driven authors struggle with: Making money from your message doesn’t dilute your mission —it expands your reach. 🧩 How to design your Author Ecosystem: Your book isn’t the whole business —it’s the entry point to speaking, programs, consulting, and community. 🚪 A powerful strategy most authors overlook: Choosing endorsements strategically to open doors —not just decorate the back cover. 🧭 Why clarity about your NEXT step matters more than having the whole plan. Progress happens when you identify the next move — not all 100 moves. 📝 The “Parking Lot” strategy for big thinkers: Capture your ideas without letting them derail your focus. ⚖️ The truth about writing and publishing: This work requires both heart and business strategy — not one or the other. 🔑 The universal truth every author needs to hear: No one will care more about your message than you —and your long-term success depends on that commitment. 🎥 Want the Full Training + Coaching Moments? COSTA RICA: THE LEADERSHIP LEAP Immersion
Early Bird: Save $500 by May 15 COSTA RICA: THE LEADERSHIP LEAP — “From Writer to Author” Immersion November 7–15, 2026 Finca Mia Retreat Center, Costa Rica $5,957–$6,757 | https://theservantedge.com/immersions/costa-rica/ Co-led by @Stephanie Mikulasek + Sierra Melcher (publisher) + Susan Ellison-McGee (communications strategist) ______________________________________________________________________________ We're doing something we’ve never done before this November In 75 books and 400+ authors, I’ve noticed something. The writers who come to Red Thread ready — truly ready — almost always describe the same moment. It’s not when they finish the manuscript. It’s not when they get the publishing contract. It’s before all of that. It’s the moment when they stop calling themselves “someone who writes” and start calling themselves an author. Out loud. To other people. That identity shift is the hardest part of the entire publishing journey. And it almost never happens at a desk. That’s why this November, we're doing something we’ve never offered before. Sierra Melcher is co-leading a 9-day immersion in the mountains of Costa Rica — not a writing retreat, but a transformation experience designed to take you across the threshold from private writer to public author. @Sierra Melcher be there as your publisher — workshopping your ideas, walking you through the publishing landscape, and helping you get clear on your book, your message, and your readiness. Alongside me will be @Stephanie Mikulasek , a former U.S. Diplomat and executive coach who designs immersive leadership experiences across six continents through her company The ServantEDGE — and Susan Ellison-McGee, a strategic communications expert who will help you build the public voice, media presence, and platform your book deserves.

On the other side of Procrastination
After resisting making progress on my manuscript that I promised you all would be published before the end of JUNE, I have finally spent the weekend devoting life force to it. I have had a rocky road. drafted it more than once. shared it with the editor needed a full restructure and then been too resistant to dive back in. Wrestling with doubt in my message, the need for it and my capacity to do it justice... BUT I am back in the text. Making little tweaks in places and rewriting entire sections in others. I spent yesterday... and already this morning... and I am to chapter 9 of 19. Just wanted to share the behind the scenes, the reality. Here with you and here for you in the process.
