About W.O.O.T. Group
Praise the Lord! My name is Keiana and I'm thrilled to share that I've launched a new ministry, W.O.O.T., which stands for Word Of Our Testimony. I'm incredibly excited about it! The inspiration comes directly from Revelation 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony..." This verse truly highlights a powerful truth: Our shared testimony is a weapon we can use to overcome challenges while inspiring others to do the same. My journey began with a non-profit called SAW (Sexual Abuse Warriors), where I currently serve as Secretary. Through that experience, I recognized a need to branch out and provide a faith-based option for those seeking spiritual mentorship and healing within a Christian context. God placed a clear vision on my heart: to create a safe space for people of faith to share their experiences and testimonies, gain access to support through community, all while learning about Jesus in practical, applicable ways. W.O.O.T. focuses on how to apply scripture to everyday life, navigating all its inherent ups and downs. I'll be offering both in-person and online interactive group lessons. These sessions will use scripture to explore a range of important subjects like trauma, healing, fear, relationships, loss, identity, and so much more. My sincere prayer for this ministry is that participants will feel encouraged to share their experiences, inspiring and uplifting one another while gaining practical wisdom directly from the Word of God. Also, prayerfully it open’s the doors of our hearts to a deeper understanding of Gods word in order to allow healing and growth to take root. Please reach out and let me know if you are interested in joining and being a part of this community!

🚨 New Category Alert 🚨
When this ministry was first placed on my heart, I had several ideas for names. Rev1211 was the first choice but realized once I googled it that it was already taken. Then I thought of IAMSK - I Am My Sister Keeper & IAMFB or I’m About My Fathers Business but again very popular when googled. I went through my list… HEAL - Helping Encourage And Listen, HEAL4REAL, IPH - In Praying Hands pronounced “If”… anyhoo, either it was already used or just didn’t quite feel right. Then I looked at the inspiration scripture again, Revelation 12:11 and I read the part where it says “word of their testimony” and said to myself WOTT? Uhm uhmmm… lol but as I was telling others I kept finding myself saying Word of OUR testimony and then I heard WOOT in my spirit! And said ah ha!! That’s it! The enemy tried to discourage me but It grew on me and now the officially registered faith based nonprofit W.O.O.T. is accomplishing exactly what God intended! A huge thanks for all your prayers and support. I couldn’t be more proud to see within a couple months how much we’ve grown as a community. The lives that have been positively impacted and the testimonies that have been shared! 🙌🏼 All Glory to God! If you read this far I say all that to say this new category is here to encompass all of those titles that were significant. This will act as an advocacy board to post questions about everyday life and get positive feedback. It’ll act as a community prayer board, to share clean inspiring memes or articles minus the compromising content you may have to scroll by on social media. It will be a safe space to share special life events and accomplishments with people who genuinely want to congratulate your growth! We are our Sisters/Brothers Keeper. We are better together. Ultimately our experiences can help or encourage someone else even if it’s just to say you’re not alone. Please feel free to post, like and leave feedback! Let’s be about our Fathers business!

⚠️ Disclaimer…
… I don’t have a medical degree, but I do have a PhD in Survival. This is lived experience, not a doctor’s orders—take the tools, but keep your therapist on speed dial and use prayer as your anchor. Throughout my life, I’ve navigated different layers of abuse—often, and most painfully, from the very people who were supposed to be my protectors. When we face these experiences, our nervous systems often default to one of four survival patterns: Fight, Flight, Freeze, or Fawn. Fight: Irritability or control. Flight: Avoiding or staying busy. Freeze: Feeling stuck or numb. Fawn: People-pleasing to stay safe. These are trauma responses, not character flaws. They are your brain’s way of keeping you alive in a world that felt unsafe. While they are natural, they are often reactive rather than proactive. For example, I might be at the grocery store when a stranger walks by wearing the same cologne as my perpetrator. Suddenly, I’m not just shopping; I’m transported back. Or, a friend might raise their voice in a simple disagreement, and instead of standing my ground, I immediately start over-apologizing just to keep the peace. In those split seconds, my body defaults to one of the four common trauma responses. Not addressing the underlying issues can lead to symptoms like Anxiety and/or Panic attacks and worsen PTSD symptoms just to name a few. Healing is the journey from blind reactions to calculated responses. Now, you can trade survival mode for a "tool belt" of healthy boundaries, breath work, and grounding techniques. Techniques like the 5-4-3-2-1 method or box breathing aren't just "fluff"—they send physical signals to your nervous system to "switch off" the alarm and reconnect you to the present moment. This helps us to better show up for ourselves and protect our relationships. When you feel triggered, take a breath and remind yourself: "I am not in that danger anymore.” “That past is not my current reality.” “I am safe now." Lastly, but most importantly I have to remind you that the true healing happens at the spiritual level!
