🤔 💭 Why? vs What? 💭 🤔
For a long time I’d sit and ponder the why’s of life. I tried making sense of things like childhood cancer, rape, war and even persecution. I remember reading the stories of the lives of our forefathers in scripture and tried to comprehend it via logic. Sometimes questioning Gods decisions. I realized it was all in vain. Then I read a passage in the Bible where Apostle Paul basically argues that God can do what He wants to and owes us nothing. He was right! He says in Romans 9:21 “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?” That is so powerful and so true! Visually I pictured a China plate tucked away safely in a cabinet on display vs a paper plate we use and toss. Imagine if the paper plate told us how it felt about it? I took it one step farther than Paul and thought “If He acted out the justice actually owed to us... we’d be guilty and deserving of eternal hellfire. This humbled me and brought me to a scripture I often visit in my heart that reminds me that the suffering we endure now isn’t comparable to the Glory that will be revealed in me. (Rom 8:18) So the next time you find your self asking Why? Don’t! Rather, ask What? What is God trying to teach me from this situation. Rather than complaining try to find the purpose in your pain.

About W.O.O.T. Group
Praise the Lord! My name is Keiana and I'm thrilled to share that I've launched a new ministry, W.O.O.T., which stands for Word Of Our Testimony. I'm incredibly excited about it! The inspiration comes directly from Revelation 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony..." This verse truly highlights a powerful truth: Our shared testimony is a weapon we can use to overcome challenges while inspiring others to do the same. My journey began with a non-profit called SAW (Sexual Abuse Warriors), where I currently serve as Secretary. Through that experience, I recognized a need to branch out and provide a faith-based option for those seeking spiritual mentorship and healing within a Christian context. God placed a clear vision on my heart: to create a safe space for people of faith to share their experiences and testimonies, gain access to support through community, all while learning about Jesus in practical, applicable ways. W.O.O.T. focuses on how to apply scripture to everyday life, navigating all its inherent ups and downs. I'll be offering both in-person and online interactive group lessons. These sessions will use scripture to explore a range of important subjects like trauma, healing, fear, relationships, loss, identity, and so much more. My sincere prayer for this ministry is that participants will feel encouraged to share their experiences, inspiring and uplifting one another while gaining practical wisdom directly from the Word of God. Also, prayerfully it open’s the doors of our hearts to a deeper understanding of Gods word in order to allow healing and growth to take root. Please reach out and let me know if you are interested in joining and being a part of this community!
