Wooden train
I am becoming Grandpaw again for the second time (a boy this time 😉). So, my daughter in law asked me if I could make a wooden train as a display for the little bags of sweet. It should also serve as a toy later on.
Since I don't have a lathe I had to saw the wheels and the 'steamchamber' on my drill press (with a hole saw). Needless to say that I spent most of the building time in sanding the wheels and the steamchamber.
Finally, I have the train primed. My daughter in law will put the finish on it (🥶).
Herewith some pictures of the built.
Please note that the wheels are temporarily attached to the chassis (for painting purposes).
