Turning a wasted corner in my basement into something useful
This project was easier said than done. Although I am a certified cabinet maker, I must confess that interior building is completely different. First of all the floor was far from level and secondly, the walls nor corners were straight or square (bear in mind that my house was initially built in 1870, partly rebuilt in 1960 and finally completely, with exception of the basement, stripped and renovated by myself and my father in law in 1995).
It took me two weeks to build and not very happy on how it turned out. But after all it is just a corner of the basement. I don't have to see it every day 😅.
