WOTM - February
February ticked along nicely: the Monterey Blacktip GMT “Alfred” swam into the collection, and next month the TWB prize is landing – the Praesidus “Iwo Jima Field Watch.” I’m very curious to see how that campaign-tested trooper will fare on the wrist… and in the rankings. As you’ll see from the list below, I try to march as many watches past the cuff as humanly possible. There are 12 main rotation pieces, with a dependable core of 8 that regularly elbow their way onto the wrist multiple times each month. It’s basically a tiny horological Hunger Games in my watch box. The February podium looked like this: • In 3rd place: the Erebus Ascent Blue MoP – finally getting some proper wrist time (4 wears) now that I’m back in suits. Seems it just needed a dress code to come out of its shell. • In 2nd: the new kid on the block, Alfred, putting in a strong debut with 5 wears. That *does* include our club’s mandatory “three days back-to-back-to-back” initiation ritual for every new arrival. Hazing, but make it horology. • And in 1st: the ever-present, ever-amazing Tudor Royal 41 with 6 wears. It keeps hogging the spotlight, and I still catch myself staring at it wondering how I got away with owning something that nice. The spreadsheet shot shows up the wears for all the watches so far this year. 1. Mk2 War Watch 2. Clark Kent 3. Erebus Ascent MoP 4. Bob Marlin 5. Tudor Royal 41 6. AW5000-24E 7. Bob Marlin 8. Snoopster 9. Erebus Ascent MoP 10. Alfred 11. Alfred 12. Alfred 13. Tudor Royal 41 14. Clark Kent 15. Tudor Royal 41 16. Alfred 17. Tudor Royal 41 18. Bob Marlin 19. Tudor Royal 41 20. The Mayor 21. Islander Greenport 22. Snoopster 23. Tudor Royal 41 24. Alfred 25. Erebus Ascent MoP 26. Erebus Ascent MoP 27. Snoopster 28. Wade Wilson

Collection thoughts
So in the process of trying to put my collection together, I started wondering how other people do it. I realized that I'm trying to cover bases with a 6 watch collection I chose a diver, a field, a GADA, a chronograph and an still.lookimg for the other 2 pieces. Let's me know how you would go about putting a collection together.
