Bringing out an Heirloom White dial today!!

I have an event tonight in the city. My older son will be joining me (😎 Fun times ahead).

I'll be in Jacket & Tie and thought I'd bring my great Uncle as well as my father with me like a 2 for 1.

This is a Watch that my Great Uncle Purchased new in 1947. He wore it proudly, and even through his struggles as a Russian/Jewish immigrant after the war, this watch remained! My father lived with him towards the end of his life and helped care for him until the end. He gave this watch to my father, who cared for it lovelingly for 25-30yrs, until when my father passed 13yrs ago, it made its way to me. ❤️

Now I am the proud custodian of this watch until 1 day (Hopefully a long way away) I will entrust it to one of my boys!! It will be a hard decision, as both of my boys have inherited the "Watch Sickness" and have started their own nice collections.

Thank you for letting me share a little of the story with you all! I'm a big believer that when wearing an heirloom pice of any kind we should tell stories about them, so that they can come alive again in a small way!!
