Our small wins for the week

Gwen doing very well practicing her calmness and place training out at the park with lots of distractions. Still on the leash and keeping our distance small but she was a very good girl not getting distracted or breaking place despite lots of eager kids and other dogs around her.

We still need to work on passing other dogs on the lead without getting distracted. I find she is quite good if the other dog passes quietly with no fuss but unfortunately for us most dogs we come across are usually on the end of the lead lunging towards us full of excitement which makes it difficult for me to pass without Gwen breaking focus.

She is good if I put her in a sit and wait for the dogs to pass but we still have to work on passing dogs calmly while on the move. But overall I am very proud of her for such a young excitable pup she is doing very well keeping calm with lots of new experiences.
