Had to share my walking success with Bonnie this morning. I decided to work with Bonnie’s schnauzer hunter nose instead of fighting it. I allowed ‘break’ sniffy time then back to ‘heal’ training on the roads. Schnauzer sniff near the reserve then back to ‘heal’ on the roads. I was armed with a sense of ‘we don’t have to be perfect’ in my head along with my new skills taught by Matt in our home visit. The walking backward, recall and back to heal worked. I was so proud of Bonnie I nearly cried. Thanks Walkys team. 😘🐾
