There’s something pretty special about a morning spent walking with good people, great dogs, and a coffee in hand. 🌊🐶 Whether your dog is just starting their training journey, already smashing it, or you simply want to meet like-minded dog owners, this walk is for you. No pressure. No judgement. Just a community of people who love getting out with their dogs and learning together. 💙 📍 Meet us at Penny Whistlers Café 🕗 8:00am 🚶 We’ll head around the Kiama Lighthouse and back, then stick around for a coffee and a chat afterwards. Bring your family, bring your friends, and of course bring your dog! Everyone is welcome. 🙌 Every person who joins us helps us move one step closer to our mission of saving 10,000 dogs from unnecessary behavioural euthanasia by building stronger relationships between dogs and their people. 🐾 See you there!

Lifewise LIVE Q&A Replay | Gut Health, Behaviour, Allergies & Nutrition Explained
What a cracking session! We were joined LIVE by Pat and Deb from Lifewise Pet Food for an open Q&A covering some of the biggest questions dog owners ask about nutrition, health and behaviour. We dug into topics like: 🐾 Why dogs eat grass and even poo (and when it’s actually a concern) 🐾 The truth about probiotics, gut health and when supplements can help 🐾 Why overweight dogs aren’t always just “overeating” 🐾 The gut-brain connection and how nutrition can influence anxiety and behaviour 🐾 Food allergies vs food sensitivities, plus why itchy dogs can be so confusing 🐾 What actually makes Lifewise different from the big pet food brands 🐾 How long it really takes before you see meaningful changes after changing your dog’s diet Whether you’re feeding Lifewise already or simply want to understand how nutrition affects your dog’s health and behaviour, this session is packed with practical information and myth-busting advice. Grab a coffee, jump into the replay, and if you’ve still got questions, drop them below. We’ll make sure they get answered. 👇 We’d love to hear your biggest takeaway after watching!

Pet Friendly Accommodation recommendations
Hi Fam . Would anyone have any recommendations for accommodation anywhere within 3 hours that accommodates large dogs? I've realised now our usual holiday destination will not suit Cas for a few more years🤣 So many pet friendly places arent fully fenced☹️ Hoping someone out there has somewhere good to recommend🙂 Thanks 😊
REPLAY: Loose Lead Walking Starts With Engagement
Missed it live? Here's the full session with @Nath Morrison @Matthew Marsh Polly & Fred. Here's the honest summary: we barely touched the lead. Because loose lead walking isn't a lead problem, it's a relationship problem. If your dog doesn't want to be near you off the lead, no amount of equipment is going to fix that on the lead. What's in it: - Why your dog pulls (opposition reflex, years of reinforcement history, and no clear leader) - Follow Me: how to build a dog who chooses to catch up rather than one you're constantly calling - And so much more worth listening to - Your homework this week: Five minutes of Follow Me in the yard, before the lead goes on, every day. No lead, no walk. Just you leaving and your dog choosing to catch up. Don't rush to the lead work. The engagement is the work. Post below and tell me how day one goes. If it falls apart, say so and I'll tell you where.
