🐾 Welcome to Walkys Dog Training Academy
You’re here. And that matters 💛 Walkys exists for dog parents who love deeply but feel stretched thin. The barking, the pulling, the chaos that sneaks into everyday life. This isn’t because you’ve failed, and it’s not because your dog is “too much”. You’re not behind. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be. 🌿 This community is where calm begins. This isn’t just a course platform. It’s a living, breathing community built around structure, clarity, and support 🧠🐾Calm isn’t created alone. It’s built together. ✨ How to get the most out of this space 👋 Introduce yourself Head to the Community tab and say hello.Share your name, your dog’s name and breed, and one thing you’d genuinely love to feel calmer about at home. 💬 Ask questions about your dog Behaviour, routines, feeding, walks, setbacks, wins. Nothing is too small. Our trainers are active inside the community, giving you direct access to real guidance (not generic advice). Ask early. Ask often. That’s what this space is for. 📚 Start The Calm Kickstart The course will go live on 5 January. It’s your foundation. Clear routines, simple structure, and fast clarity so you’re not guessing your way forward anymore. 🗓 Join our weekly live sessions We meet live every week inside Skool: - 🧘 Tuesdays 12:30 pm – The Calm Collective (one calm-building skill each week) - 🚶 Thursdays 12:30 pm – Walk & Talk Q&A (bring your questions and wins) - 🐾 Fridays 9:30 am – Fresh Tracks (perfect for new or resetting members) - All sessions are listed in the Calendar 📅 🎉 Share your wins Every win counts. We’re really glad you’re here 🐾💛
🎥 Calm Collective Replay: Structure Creates Calm
If you missed today’s session, this one matters. We broke down how to build real calm through structure, not hope. Crate at night. Place bed during the day. Clear routines that lower arousal and build impulse control. We covered: • Why some dogs never truly switch off • How overnight crate sleep resets the nervous system • How daytime place work teaches calm around real life • The difference between tiring a dog out and teaching them to regulate • What to do when protest barking, restlessness, or pushback shows up This wasn’t about quick fixes. It was about building an environment where calm becomes predictable. If your dog paces, barks, struggles to settle, or feels constantly “on,” this replay will give you a simple, structured plan to start immediately. Watch the replay, apply the 7 day plan, and then drop your questions below. Calm is built through repetition. Let’s tighten it up this week. 🐾

🎥 Walk & Talk Q&A Replay – Chicken & Rice, Excited Wee’s & So Much More
This one was a good one. We covered: • Why vets often recommend chicken and rice • Why some dogs pee when they’re excited • What’s really going on underneath those behaviours • And a heap of real world questions from the community If you’ve ever felt confused about what to do next, this replay will give you clarity. Jump in and watch it back. Then drop your questions in the comments and we’ll keep the conversation going. 🐾

🌞Sunny found her forever home 🐾🏡
This morning we sent the beautiful Sunny off to her new forever home💌. Her lovely new family have changed her name to Wilma, which suits her beautifully. Off she went with a spring in her step and jumped in car. Its always bittersweet saying goodbye to foster pups but she will be in great hands and has been an absolute pleasure to see grow over the last few weeks. I have welcomed the family to join Skool to ask any questions over the first month of her settling in. Lets support them along this journey.
