2026 USAPM Senior Athlete Selection Criteria
Athletes, Coaches, and Parents, The 2026 USAPM Senior Athlete Selection Criteria is now posted. For any athlete who is interested in the qualifying procedures for international events- World Cups, World Championships, PanAmerican Championships please review this document. If you have any questions you can post them in the comments or reach out to your athlete reps. **Please note, the 2025 USAPM Nationals scheduled for Dec 13-14 is a 2026 ranking event**

Athletes, coaches, and parents— You’re training hard, competing in USAPM events, and maybe you’ve even stepped on the podium! Now it’s time to take the next step: earning a national ranking and qualifying for selection to represent Team USA at events like the Youth, Junior, and Senior World Championships, UIPM World Cups, and other international open competitions. To be eligible, you must be an annual member of USA Pentathlon Multisport (USAPM) and in good standing. Becoming a USAPM member is easy. We offer membership options for Youth, Adults, and General Supporters, and all memberships include access to required SafeSport training and background checks when applicable. Annual Safesport and MAAPP Policy Notification
Dear USAPM Members and Participants, At USA Pentathlon Multisport (USAPM), the safety and well-being of every athlete, coach, official, parent, and participant in our community is our highest priority. In alignment with the U.S. Center for SafeSport requirements for 2026, we are sharing important information that all participants are required to review. 1. Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) Our current, Center-approved MAAPP outlines expectations and boundaries designed to protect minor athletes. ➡️ Please review here: https://www.usapentathlon.org/safe-sport All participants are required to review these policies annually. 2. SafeSport Code The SafeSport Code defines prohibited conduct and reporting obligations across the Olympic & Paralympic Movement. ➡️ Review the SafeSport Code here: https://uscenterforsafesport.org/response-and-resolution/safesport-code/ 3. How to Report Misconduct Anyone may report concerns involving: - Sexual Misconduct - Physical Misconduct - Emotional Misconduct - Violations of the MAAPP Reports may be submitted anonymously and without cost. ➡️ USAPM Reporting Mechanism: https://forms.office.com/r/ix5ZewH3Gi?origin=lprLink ➡️ U.S. Center for SafeSport Reporting Portal: https://uscenterforsafesport.org/report-a-concern/ Our reporting page explains when reports go directly to the Center and when USAPM has jurisdiction.
