My biggest challenge is my travel schedule. Flights, hotels, food options all make health and fitness challenging for business travelers.
Here are my tips I have learned and practice.
1. make exercise a priority during travel. Set an alarm, walk during delays in the airport (I do 5Ks often in Atlanta and Dallas on layovers)
2. avoid the bar. You can spend just as much time in the gym as you can a bar in a hotel.. 500 calorie burn or 1000 calorie consumption
3.Protein forward, eggs, grilled meats, protein drinks, avoid too many sugars and heavy carbs
4. rest. Don’t death scroll or over binge TV. HGH is released when you sleep
Open to hear other ideas. I have done 50 Nights on the road already this year and on my way for another trip today.
