Never too late/too good to learn something new!
I think it's important to always be learning—especially as a coach.
The best coaches stay coachable. They're open to new ideas, willing to challenge their own beliefs, and willing to put themselves in uncomfortable situations.
Because every time you face a fear or learn a new skill, you get a little better at understanding what your students are feeling when you ask them to do something that scares them.
I was lucky enough to meet Amy from Girls Ride Toosday for a quick evening ride at her home track.
And let me tell you... I was NERVOUS. 😅 Getting any kind of air on my hard enduro setup was way outside my comfort zone.
But with a little guidance, Amy helped me accomplish my one goal: clearing that first jump. 😂
It's funny how perspective works. I know this is a kids' track, but for me, it was a huge mental battle.
No matter your skill level, there's always something to learn! 🙌
