@Lisa Corneau I would have to once i realized why I was doing to the gym gave me all the answers I needed. For example some go for “looks” “strength” etc once I realized I wanted to be able to hold race pace for X amount of time, I did some homework on the training those most use muscle groups we all use for riding! But if I had to answer what exercises work the best for me, the second I stopped trying to just focus on one muscle at a time, outside of let’s say doing a abs workout. But when I train my legs it isn’t just a calf work out it’s alot of calf’s but also it hits my quads too. Because when I’m racing my body is using every single muscle none stop so I need to be training for none stop fatigue, not being able to just lift X amount of 10 reps
