Going to Malaysia to Play in a Competition

I decided to do a little traveling and will be flying to Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to play in a Minor League DUPR team competition on the 24 May.

It’s only a 3 hour flight from where I live in Lombok, Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Minor League DUPR competition with 2 men and 2 women. Playing against other teams in 50+ age category: MD, WD, MXD1+ & MXD2.

Pickleball really brings the most fabulous connections into our lives.

I couldn’t find another 3 x 50+ players who could afford to travel to Malaysia from Lombok, Indonesia so I sent a message to a few people in Kuala Lumpur who I had met on my trip to Malaysia in July 2025 (when I went there to compete in the World Pickleball Championship). Within just 3 hours one of the ladies had replied that she had found 3 other players for me and within a day we had our team registered in the competition.

I am really so grateful for pickleball and all my new pickleball friends around the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️
