Are You More Excited About a Bank Holiday Than a Monday?

Most people light up when there’s an extra day off. A bank holiday means family time, a lie-in, maybe a BBQ, or simply the chance to switch off. Nothing wrong with that.

But here’s the question I want you to wrestle with:

👉 If you get more excited about a Friday night or a bank holiday Monday than you do about stepping into your business on a normal day… what does that say?

Because if the thought of a normal Monday fills you with dread, something’s missing.

I was talking to people about this yesterday. Of course, we all say, “Have a great bank holiday, enjoy your weekend.” And yes, time with family and rest are vital.

But if you’re building a business and your whole energy is around escaping from it, then your passion and purpose are out of sync.

I often get asked: “How do you know if you can be successful at something?”

My answer is simple:

Find your passion, and you’ll uncover your purpose.

When you’ve got passion and purpose, even the hard days feed your soul.

Without them, success is still possible, but it’s tough.

Because when the pain hits (and it always does), it’s passion and purpose that carry you through.

So ask yourself today:

➡️ Am I building a business that excites me as much on Monday morning as it does on Friday evening?

➡️ Or am I just living for the next day off?
