you can forgive yourself now
Not because what happened didn't matter.
But because you're not the same person who made those decisions.
One of the biggest things I've learned is this...
You're a student of life, not the master.
That position has already been taken.
Every mistake...Every regret...Every season you wish you could go back and change...
Was part of your education.
The past wasn't meant to become a prison cell. It was meant to become a classroom.
So stop holding yourself hostage for who you used to be.
That version of you did the best they could with the awareness they had at the time.
Now you know more...Now you can choose differently... That's what growth is.
You don't honor your past by carrying shame forever.
You honor it by learning from it... and becoming someone new because of it.
Here's a question for you:
If someone you deeply loved made the same mistakes you did...
Would you keep reminding them of their past...
Or would you remind them of who they're becoming?
Now it's your turn to offer yourself that same grace. 🙏
What can you forgive yourself for?
