I still eat everything, but I limit my intake of sugar, carbohydrates, gluten, and lactose. I actually eat more—healthy—fats now than I used to. My lifestyle change began with meditation and breathing exercises. Then came ecstatic dance, energy work, and systemic work. All of this taught me to enjoy the moment. I used to be a total stress case and worry a lot. Today, I practice self-care every day. I’ve learned to fully embrace myself and can now let go of control more easily. Now I choose to trust the universe.
