Have you ever noticed that the moment you start thinking about buying a certain car... you suddenly see that car everywhere? The car didn't magically appear. Your brain simply started paying attention to something it had been filtering out all along. There's a part of your brain called the Reticular Activating System (RAS). Think of it like a filter. Every second, your brain is taking in an unbelievable amount of information, and the RAS decides what deserves your attention. The fascinating part is that it doesn't judge whether something is good or bad. It simply looks for more of whatever you've been focusing on. If you're constantly telling yourself, "I'm not enough," your mind will find evidence to support that story. If you focus on everything that's going wrong, you'll become incredibly good at noticing more things that are wrong. But the same thing happens in the other direction. When you start looking for opportunities, moments of gratitude, signs of growth, or evidence that life is moving in your favor, your brain begins finding those too. That's why I love the quote: "What you seek is seeking you." To me, it isn't about pretending life is perfect or hoping the universe magically delivers everything you want. It's about realizing that your focus shapes your experience. You begin noticing possibilities that were always there... you just weren't looking for them. So here's something to try today. Ask yourself, "What do I want more of in my life?" Maybe it's peace. Confidence. Love... Purpose Then spend the rest of the day looking for even the smallest evidence that it's already beginning to show up. This is how you train your brain to start bringing in what you most want out of life. You might be surprised by what you notice. Because where your focus goes... your life tends to follow. I'm curious... what are you choosing to focus on more in this season of your life? Drop one word in the comments. Let's encourage each other. 👇
