Sacred Cycles Wednesday is happening in 7 minutes
Menstrual Monday - Menstruation vs Your Cycle
Your menstruation and your menstrual cycle mean 2 different things. Your menstruation/period is a phase of your menstrual cycle. It is the first phases of your whole cycle. Even when you are not menstruating you are still cycling - menstruation, follicular, ovulation and luteal/late luteal (premenstruum).

Menstrual Monday - Fun Fact
The period is the only scarless healing in the human body. Think about it.... Compare it to skinning your knee. When you skin your knee many layers of skin are removed and bleed takes place as the tissue is exposed. Each month the superficial lining of your urterus is shed exposing blood vessels that heal. However, unlike when you skin your knee, you shed your uterine lining is shed over and over again like nothing happened. How amazing is that! Our bodies are so incredible.

Menstrual Monday - Nourish Yourself
The holiday hasn't quite begun —But you can probably already feel it starting in your body. The mental list. The pressure to create magic. The quiet hum of “holding it all.” And maybe, just under the surface…that soft ache for stillness. No advice here. No to-do list.Just a gentle reminder: There’s a space being prepared for you on the other side of all this. A few days where you don’t have to perform, produce, or hold it all together.A space to reconnect with you — your rhythm, your breath, your body. I’ll share more soon .But for now, just know this: You’re allowed to be held, too. Not just needed. Nourished. And in the meantime…please don’t forget to nourish you over the holidays, too. For me, that looks like curling up with a cup of tea and a good book at night — no pressure, no screens, just something to help me slow down and soften before sleep. What about you? What’s your version of care right now? I’d love to hear it — or maybe this is your gentle nudge to find a few minutes for yourself this week.

Menstrual Monday - Nourish Yourself
Menstrual Monday - Adrenal Support isn't just about supplements...
It’s About How You Move Through the Holidays The past 2 weeks we talked about creatine, and vitamin C and others ways to support your adrenals and energy—but adrenal support doesn’t stop at nutrition and supplements. How you show up for yourself in December matters just as much. 🎄 This time of year can feel magical... But also completely draining—especially if you're the one holding it all together. You might be: - Saying yes to every invite - Managing gifts, meals, schedules, and traditions - Putting pressure on yourself to make it “perfect” All while running on empty. This is the adrenal crash zone. Your body doesn’t know the difference between running from a tiger and running from or going to a job interview. Stress is stress .And if you're in perimenopause or already feeling depleted, your adrenals are working overtime to keep up. 💛 So this week’s focus is: Nervous System Nourishment Here are a few non-food ways to support your adrenals through the holidays: 1. Say No Without Explaining Yourself Boundaries are sacred this time of year. A simple “No, thank you” is enough. 2. Take 10 Minutes Alone—Guilt-Free. You don’t need to earn rest. A quiet moment in your car, a slow cup of tea, or a quick walk outside counts. 3. Let Go of “Perfect.” Your nervous system doesn’t need one more unrealistic standard. Imperfect and peaceful > polished and panicked. 4. Give Yourself a Soft Landing Each Day Try a magnesium bath, a few deep breaths, legs up the wall—something gentle to bring your system down from “go mode.” 5. Choose Your YES Carefully Does this bring joy or depletion? If it’s the latter... lovingly pass. Don't just stop after this week take this through the whole month with you. What’s one boundary or pause you’re giving yourself this season? What are you letting go of so you don’t burn out? You deserve to enjoy the season without sacrificing yourself to it .That’s adrenal support, too.
