New year tradition

Hi girls!I wanned to share with you a new year Eve Albanian tradition:making baklava.

The baklava is originally an turkish dessert made with browse pistacchios and sugar sirup.In our Albanian version we use nuts instrada and we cut it in a star shape differt from the turkish one(second photo).This dish is usually made with all the women of the house were is made,that’s why I helped too.I have to be honest I don’t know if you care about this but I think that sharing tradition is really beatiful and make out cultural baggage wider.So I would like if you also share a new year tradition from your country .I hope you like this post.
