Energy Follows Intention
I hear people say it every day.
“I’d like…”
“I want…”
“I need…”
Listen carefully to those words.
I’d like suggests someone else might give it to you.
I want often waits for permission or opportunity.
I need can sound like the responsibility belongs to somebody else… your employer, your parents, the Government, the economy.
Instead, ask yourself one question:
What do I intend?
Intention is different.
It carries commitment.
It assumes responsibility.
It demands action.
Don’t tell me what you’d like to happen.
Tell me what you’re going to do.
What skills are you going to learn?
What sacrifices are you prepared to make?
What conversations are you going to have?
What risks are you willing to take?
What time are you going to get up tomorrow morning?
Because energy follows intention.
When your intention becomes crystal clear, your focus sharpens.
Your decisions improve.
Your habits change.
Your actions become consistent.
And over time, your results begin to follow.
Your future isn’t waiting for someone else.
Your future needs you.
  • To step up.
  • To take responsibility.
  • To put the work in.
Nobody is coming.
Become the person your future is depending on.
