Gojiberry AI lead generator
Just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else has had experience of Gojiberry - it's an AI driven LinkedIn lead generation tool (I think since Apple, Blackberries and Orange they must be running out of fruit now). My findings so far is that it is a great time saver, but is better not to rely on the AI generated messaging, which many on LI are getting inundated with in their inboxes. Too early to tell about the quality, but have had a couple of disgruntled complaints about the cold outreach, for which I think I probably need to develop a slightly thicker skin. I'd be interested to hear about tips and tricks, experiences etc. I'll report back in my own again when I've seen some more results coming through.

Hi Kate - this sounds interesting, and not something that I've used before. Please do report back. And, ha, when's the dragonfruit tool coming?!! or Lychee could be a good brand name?! 😂 for the next micro tech.... raspberry pi but with a harder shell?! I think for me, I've stayed away from these tools because of the reasons that Joel mentions above, and I personally don't like getting AI reach-outs (although I would also not scold someone and make them feel bad for trying it). If someone's done their research properly, then great, but I'm afraid I'm one of those people who can switch off to a brand if they come across as a generic outreach ask. That all being said, this is definitely a season of innovation and rapid change, and always happy to be proven wrong 😀
The greatest investment you'll ever make isn't in your business...
It's in yourself. Your business will only ever grow to the level that you do. - Learn more. - Think better. - Ask better questions. - Challenge your own assumptions. - Improve your mindset. - Develop your leadership. - Build stronger habits. - Raise your standards. Most business owners spend years working harder on their business than they ever do on themselves. That's backwards. When you become a better leader, your team performs better. When you make better decisions, profits improve. When you think bigger, your business follows. The highest return on investment you'll ever receive isn't from a new piece of equipment, another member of staff or a bigger marketing budget.... ...It's from becoming the person your future business needs you to be. Work harder on yourself than you do on your business... and watch your business become a reflection of the person you've become.

Thanks so much for sharing Mike! When do these start going out? Hope you have some great leads from them - really like the point about playing all the instruments when you should be the conductor. Hope they work well for you 😀
Energy Follows Intention
I hear people say it every day. “I’d like…” “I want…” “I need…” Listen carefully to those words. I’d like suggests someone else might give it to you. I want often waits for permission or opportunity. I need can sound like the responsibility belongs to somebody else… your employer, your parents, the Government, the economy. Instead, ask yourself one question: What do I intend? Intention is different. It carries commitment. It assumes responsibility. It demands action. Don’t tell me what you’d like to happen. Tell me what you’re going to do. What skills are you going to learn? What sacrifices are you prepared to make? What conversations are you going to have? What risks are you willing to take? What time are you going to get up tomorrow morning? Because energy follows intention. When your intention becomes crystal clear, your focus sharpens. Your decisions improve. Your habits change. Your actions become consistent. And over time, your results begin to follow. Your future isn’t waiting for someone else. Your future needs you. - To step up. - To take responsibility. - To put the work in. Nobody is coming. Become the person your future is depending on.

Very true! Can't say that it isn't hard graft building the business, and a huge amount of sacrifices have been made along the way, but it's so worth it seeing something that was a 'what if' become a reality that is so much bigger than the sum of its parts 😀
🚀 CONVENIENCE AND COMFORT KILL GROWTH AND SUCCESS
Most people deal with bad: Bad hurts. Bad creates pressure. Bad forces action. But good?... Good is far more dangerous. It pays the bills. It keeps the wheels turning. It gives you just enough comfort not to change. As Jim Collins famously said: “Good is the enemy of great.” We reject terrible, but we often accept average. We settle into the soft chair. We tolerate: • An average business. • An average income. • Average results. • A dream that keeps getting pushed to “next year”. But why accept good when exceptional is possible? Why settle for surviving when you could build abundance? 💡 Growth rarely comes from comfort. It comes from discomfort. The discomfort of: • Not having enough clients. • Not earning enough money. • Knowing you’re capable of more. Or the self-created discomfort that comes from setting a goal so ambitious it forces you to become a different person. 🏅 A gold medal. 📖 A book. 🏃 A marathon. 💷 A million-pound business. 📈 A hundred-million-pound company. 🌍 A legacy. None of those happen while you’re comfortably seated waiting for motivation, opportunity or perfect conditions. You have to get out of the chair. Get off your arse. Do the work. The recipe for success isn’t complicated: ✅ Focus. ✅ Discipline. ✅ Consistency. ✅ Courage. ✅ Hard work. ✅ The willingness to do something differently. Because if you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always got. So if you think growth and success are going to come through comfort and convenience… Think again: 🔥 Comfort protects the life you already have. 🚀 Discomfort creates the life you say you want.

very true. I saw this a lot in TV freelancers around me when working in TV documentaries, and its no real surprise that a number of them now run incredibly successful businesses, in a number of different areas. Change is never comfortable, but it does lead to a life where the highs are worth the challenges. Great reminder to keep focusing on 'what can be' and not the current status quo, thanks!
