💬 Group Chats Are Coming to ChatGPT!
OpenAI has just announced a brand-new feature — Group Chats — letting you bring multiple people (and ChatGPT) into the same conversation.
You’ll be able to plan trips, make decisions, and collaborate on projects together while ChatGPT helps summarise, search, and generate — all in one shared chat.
It’s currently being piloted in New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, with wider rollout expected soon.
💡 This reminds me — you can also share Projects in ChatGPT now, which is incredibly useful in theory… but there’s still one frustrating limitation: if your project includes a Canvas, anyone you share it with can’t access it.
It makes me wonder — when Group Chats roll out more widely, will we face the same limitation there too?
👉 What do you think?
Would you use shared projects or group chats in your firm — and what would make them more useful for you?
