šŸŽ„ How to Use Claude in Chrome
Most people use Claude by typing into a chat window. But there's a Chrome extension that lets Claude actually see your screen, click buttons, browse websites, and work across tabs. It's like having a virtual assistant sitting beside you ... doing the boring browser work you hate. I've just recorded a full walkthrough and I'm sharing it here so you can see what's possible. In the video I cover: āœ… Setting up the extension and choosing the right model āœ… The approval settings that keep you in control āœ… A live demo of Claude browsing Amazon and finding products that match specific criteria āœ… How tab grouping controls what Claude can see āœ… The Teach Claude feature where you record a workflow and Claude learns to repeat it āœ… Scheduling tasks so they run automatically every day or week āœ… Security tips including prompt injection and why it matters The bit that blew my mind ... I taught Claude to review my Skool membership requests every morning. It checks for spam, looks at whether applicants are accountants, and approves or leaves them for me. I set it up once. Now it just runs. šŸ‘‡ The video is below šŸ‘‡ Have you tried the Claude Chrome extension yet? If so, what did you use it for? And if not ... what's the first thing you'd want it to do for you? šŸ‘‡

Hi Mark. I am using ChatGPT business. Shall I cancel it and switch to Claude? Does Claude have business version for GDPR? For safety of clients data? I use ChatGPT on all my devices. You said this option is not available for Caude. What’s your advise please? šŸ™

šŸ“‚ ChatGPT Now Has a Proper File Library
Ever uploaded a document to ChatGPT and then spent 10 minutes trying to find it again three days later? OpenAI quietly introduced a Library feature back in March 2026 ... and it's now available to all users, including free accounts. It solves one of the most annoying things about ChatGPT. Here's how it works. Every file you upload to ChatGPT ... PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images ... gets saved automatically to your Library. Same goes for any files ChatGPT creates for you, including generated images. The useful bit is you can pull any saved file back into a new chat. Just use the attachment menu and choose "Add from library." No more scrolling through months of old conversations. A few things worth knowing: - Your chats are NOT stored in Library ... it's purely for files - Memories are separate too ... Library doesn't touch those - Project files live in their own space inside Projects - Deleting a chat doesn't delete the files you uploaded ... they stay in Library until you remove them Storage depends on your plan. Free gets 500MB. Plus and Business get 20GB. Pro gets 100GB. My honest take? It sounds small but it changes how you work. If you're regularly uploading client templates, engagement letters, or reference documents ... you only need to upload them once. Then reuse them across any conversation. Having said that, I prefer to keep important files that I want to be referenced often as 'project files'. And I find myself now working mainly inside Codex (ChatGPT) and Cowork. Have you spotted the Library in your ChatGPT yet? Are you using it? šŸ‘‡

I has realised library for my images. But knowing about this feature is a time saver as I need to use the same format for many reports and every time I had to download it from my own desktop. Noting that files in Chats most of the time when you get back to them is not available.
šŸŽ„ Missed Yesterday's Webinar? Here's the Recording
Over 200 people showed up live yesterday as I tackled the big question head on: can AI replace accountants and bookkeepers? If you missed it... the recording is now on YouTube. šŸ‘‰ Will AI Replace Accounting and Bookkeeping? Here's what we covered: - Why agentic AI is fundamentally different from ChatGPT chat — it doesn't just answer questions, it takes actions inside your software - What I actually did using agentic AI on my own year-end accounts (bookkeeping, financial statement review, correcting journal entries — all done by AI) - Cowork vs Codex — which tool to use and why - The 6 techniques that get the best results from agentic AI - Privacy, security, and costs — and why the picture is more positive than you might think I also ran a live poll during the session. Check out the results in the image below ... they tell an interesting story about where most people are right now. The number one barrier? Privacy and security (26%), closely followed by not knowing how to do it (25%). Both of those are addressed in the recording. Which of those barriers resonates most with you? šŸ‘‡

Build a Complete Bookkeeping System in Minutes (Not Hours)
Let me explain… Most accountants would assume building a bookkeeping system in Excel takes hours… maybe even a full day. What if you could do it in minutes? šŸ‘‡ The video is below. In this video, I show you exactly how to: • Build a fully structured Excel bookkeeping system from scratch • Generate tailored income and expense categories for any client • Use AI to create formulas, summaries, and dashboards automatically • Turn a blank spreadsheet into something client-ready… fast And here’s the important part… This isn’t just about Excel. It’s about understanding how to combine the right prompts with the right tools to remove hours of manual work. Once you see this, you’ll start thinking very differently about what’s possible. šŸ’¬ Let me ask you… Would you actually use something like this in your firm? And where do you still feel Excel (or bookkeeping generally) is slowing you down the most?

Hi Mark. That’s incredible. I was looking for the rest explanation of how you integrate the bank statement and prepare the financial statements. šŸ˜„ Also, from April 26 based on UK rules and regulations, accounts can’t be submitted from HMRC or Companies House website like before, and has to be done via approved softwares. I wish Excel was linked to HMRC and CH as well. šŸ˜„ Any solution? Thanks
