For many years I believed that suffering was just a 'normal' part of being a woman.
I used to have raging PMS symptoms & completely sabotage my entire life the week before my period (aka the luteal phase) & when I got my period I would crawl into bed, call off all of my meetings & try to survive for the next 5 days. That took 2 weeks out of every month.
It took me a long time to finally fall in love & understand my body.
One day, while swimming in the Black Sea on my period, I looked up at the sky & remembered. My body & the moon are connected.
That led me to 7 years of researching the menstrual cycle & the ecological, social & historical background that shape our womanhood.
This obsession will never stop.
I wish somebody taught me what I know today! I cannot get back the years I spent hating my body but I can help you & this is what drives me to share this knowledge.
