Need advice-
My daughter is 28 months old and is a picky eater . When it comes to soft foods , she eats after some tantrums .However , she refrains from eating foods like cookies , crackers although she can chew other soft foods. Eg- she eats fruits, breads , pasta , soft cookies like bear paws, oatmeal, soaked cornflakes , but the moment she realizes it’s a hard food, she spits it out. I’d really appreciate if I could get some suggestions on how can I encourage her to eat such foods . I’ve also noticed she drools more often than before. I cannot rule out drooling because of teething but I do not see any progress in terms of new teeth showing up.
I’m a bit concerned about does this or will it somehow affect her speech ? I maybe wrong in thinking this but is it because her oral muscles aren’t as strong is it because she’s just picky and being a toddler ?
Any suggestions on how I can work on this are truly helpful and appreciated. Thanks.
