Playing with toddler
My toddler only plays about 3 min with a toy and change it everytime. I try to practise with him and try to do some speach Input but he only plays about 3 min with the toy. Is it normal? And for me it is a Little Bit new to speak every Word slowly etc. Are You Doing it the whole time when You are playing with your toddler?

Hello everyone, First of all Thank You for having me in this Community. I am glad to be a member of it. To my Person: My Name is Ipek, 32 years Old and I live in Germany. I have a 1,5 year Old Boy. For me it is Really Hard to know how to support his speach journey. Maybe some Of you Can give me some advises. It is my first child and we are Talking with him in 2 languages. One question: everything he wants or cant say - he points with his finger and says „de de de“. I am giving it to him and say the right Name of the object like fridge. Do you Think this is a good way? I am looking forward from your Feedback.

Dear Samantha, Just one I am trying it, but my Child is Really fast getting tantrums. Is this normal? I try to repeat the word twice and then give it to him.
Pointing to First Words
From Pointing to First Words: How to respond to pointing When your child points, here’s the sequence: 1. Get the item they want 2. Hold it by your mouth 3. Model the word with a pause after (allow for processing time and possible imitation or gesture) 4. Then give it to them This gives them a clear view of your mouth, pairs the word with the object, and shows them that communication works—without any pressure to say it. What questions do you have about this approach?
