When I first started meditating, I found it so stressful! 😩 So I told my therapist that and he said: “Oh good! Now you understand how stressed you actually are. Let’s work on that.” 😳
But seriously, sitting with painful or uncomfortable thoughts can be a challenge to say the least. It is also the most liberating thing you could ever do for yourself. But you want to start small.
Here is a simple meditation you can do today that will help you get in touch with yourself and how you feel without feeling threatened, overwhelmed, or stressed out like I did – ha ha! 🤪
