It's a holiday weekend and a BIG one. 250 years! ð As an immigrated American citizen, I love this country almost as much as I love my health. ð I look at world leaders and think, "I would NOT want that job!" But here's the rub: we're all world leaders. Your mind, your body, your soul: those are micro-worlds, and you're the only one calling the shots in them. ð³ And that? That's great news. ð So if your world's looking a little shoddy lately, you can make a real difference in the next 5 minutes: ð Get up and move around ð Get off the "idiot box" ð Drink 8 oz of water ð Listen to something uplifting ð Text a friend you admire and tell them why you're glad they're in your life (âŠand if anyone's seen the Pop Rock Oreos, I'm asking for a friend. ðð) We think a healthy life takes big, sweeping gestures. The truth? It's just the next 5 minutes and what you decide to do with it. Will it always be perfect? Heck no. And thank goodness because perfection is for suckers. It's the very thing that keeps you stuck. We're simply making better decisions, 5 minutes at a time. And listen; if I DO find those Pop Rock Oreos, you'd better believe I'm eating them. ð Aiming for healthy 80% of the time will exponentially advance your health and the quality of your life. So, what are you doing with your next 5 minutes? Share it below and be a light in this community. ð (Even if it's eating Oreos. ð)
